We rented this property for the Zoo-de-Mac biking festival in May 2016. We had perfect weather and the location was perfect as well. Great place. We loved being right on the beach. The bar/pool table in the lower level was fun. The main floor was just amazing. We cooked most nights and the views were just breathtaking and peaceful. Walking the beach was intoxicating.
We spent a week here during summer. It was a great location right on Lake Michigan, with quick access to Harbor Springs and other surrounding areas. The house is well cared for and has all the amenities you could ask for in a lake house. We were able to use the kayaks every day, hang out on the beach, grill on the deck, and have fires on the beach. The sunsets from the house are spectacular. One of the best features of this house in my opinion, was the ability to walk right out of the lower level and onto the beach. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice summer getaway.
This property had a spectacular view as well as many amenities. We made use of the kayaks they had and they supplied all linens as well as beach towels.
The add said it had stairs and it did. It became a little difficult for my husband after a few days, but we were warned. The add well represented the property.
The owner as well as the people taking care of his property were very helpful and courteous. There are lots of things to do in the area, but if the weather is good you may have a hard time leaving it. The home has a lovely deck that you can eat at and enjoy the view.
I had forgotten about all the rocks north of town, so not good swimming. I would definitely recommend it to a friend with a little older children.
Great Harbor Springs location. Beautiful view. Great cottage experience.
We spent the Christmas-week there, with lots of snow and a great view over the lake with wonderful sunsets. The house is located on a side-road with very little traffic. Sauna, Pool-Table and Darts are a great opportunity to spend the time after the sunsets.
We were 4 adults, which was perfect (2 slept first floor, 2 in one of the upper bedrooms).
This is a very nice cottage. My family had a great time during the week of Thanksgiving. There are quite a few stairs to get from parking to the cottage. So keep that in mind. Very clean.
