About David Ouyang
We have been vacationing in Michigan for years, but after our first visit to the Leelanau Peninsula, we knew we had found the place where we wanted to buy our vacation home. Our kids (13 and younger) may be the only people who love the area and our home more than we do.
David Ouyang purchased this Cottage in 2013

Had a wonderful time staying a week in this beautiful home! This was our third time to rent this home and we hope to go back!
Many fun memories, perfect location!
Beautiful home and setting
We have now stayed two years in a row at this home. It is just as pictured: lovely, clean and comfortable. Very happy with the home and the communication with the manager. Highly recommend.
Stay was even better than last year. Wonderful place to stay.
The view of a lifetime!
We have been staying at different homes in the TC area for 5 years and this home has by far the best view of the water from ALL of the rooms and wrap around porch than any other!! We lived outside on the porch - played cards at the table, had coffee on the adirondack chairs and fished off the dock.
The free kayaks were great as the water was so calm in the Bay. The house was adorable and well-equipped. There wasn’t a single appliance or kitchen tool that we wished they had. We stayed there with our two teenagers and parents. It was ideal for everyone and a great location to Suttons Bay, Leelanau, andy Downtown Traverse City.
I would highly recommend staying here!
Beautiful home perfect for kids!
Loved renting this house. The property is in an ideal location for all the activities offered in the area but yet not on a busy street. The house is beautiful and is well matched for families. Can’t wait to go again next year:)
So glad you enjoyed your first stay with us! Look forward to having you and your boys back for many summers to come! Dave and Kim
This was our first time to this property and it will definitely not be our last. The house was perfect for our family of four to relax and play for a week. My only wish is we could have stayed longer.
The water was in the low 40s during our stay so we couldn't swim but we did take the kayaks out a couple of times which was a lot of fun. The water in the bay is crystal clear and only about 5-6 feet deep even past the dock.
The water level is up quite a bit so the beach shown is now under water. It wasn't an issue for us but just be advised.
There's lot of good restaurants and shopping in and around Sutton's Bay. We liked Fishtown in Leland as well. Sleeping Bear Dunes was a hit with our kids too.
We will be back!
