About the Home
Northern Lights 29 is an impressive multi-level, three bedroom townhome, recently renovated and perched above the Westin Resort and Spa and is only a 13-minute walk to the heart of Whistler Village. This lovely home features towering floor to ceiling windows, wood flooring with radiant heating, and instant hot water. The kitchen has been fitted with brand new appliances, including a wine fridge and a Viking gas cook top. And there is plenty of storage for your skis or bikes, with racks for this equipment in the garage.
From the spacious entrance to the home, stairs lead up to the master bedroom and down to the main living level. The main living level features an open concept living room with vaulted ceiling, picture windows, gas fireplace, flat screen television and DVD player. The modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counters and a breakfast bar that overlooks the dining area that seats eight comfortably along a bench and five chairs. A media room is also found on the upper level, located above the garage and features a 72" TV. The spacious deck off the living room features a private hot tub and BBQ.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The master bedroom is located on the top level of the home and features a queen bed, vaulted ceiling, desk, and TV. The ensuite features a walk-in shower and single vanity. The other 2 guest bedrooms are located on the lower level of the home, each featuring a TV. The second guest bedroom features a queen bed and the third guest bedroom features a tri-bunk bed with a pull out trundle bed - perfect for the kids or extra guests. The separate bathroom on this level features a single vanity area separated by a door from the glass-enclosed shower and toilet. For added comfort, there is a guest powder room on the main living level of the home and blackout drapes have been installed in all bedrooms.
For access to the mountains, many guests choose to drive or taxi 2 minutes to the base of Whistler Village to access the gondola and lifts adjacent to the Westin Resort & Spa. Alternatively, more adventurous guests can ski-in via a ski trail off the Lower Olympic ski run that ends with a climb down 100 plus stairs to the middle of the Northern Lights neighbourhood. Guests can use this same access to ski-out by climbing up the 100 plus stairs and then hiking up the ski trail to the Lower Olympic run.
Northern Lights 29 features a garage and driveway parking, in-suite laundry and complimentary wireless internet access.
