Our 5 bedrooms, 6 baths house is perched on the second wave of dunes looking out to the Cape Cod Bay. We have 4 bedrooms with queen beds and two bedrooms with two twin beds each, full kitchen, outdoor shower, grills, and salt water hot tub on the deck overlooking the Cape Cod Bay.
Provincetown is 7 miles away with best restaurants, shows, and an active night life. You will find art galleries, good food, and quiet life in Wellfleet, 5 miles in the other direction. The best bay and ocean beaches, golf, nature centers and kids activities are just a short drive from the house. The Outer Cape Cod is a narrow piece of land. All activities are in close proximity to the house. No need to look for parking if you take the Flex bus. A small farm with horseback riding is right next door with fresh eggs and small animals.

We have been vacationing on the Cape for many years. Truro is the most rural of the Cape towns with a close proximity to summer theaters, best restaurants, golf, fishing, and nature trails. Driving is an easy 2 hrs from Boston. Beaches are never crowded. We love it here.
The house is in a rural area but it is 5 min. drive from the best beaches, best art galleries and best restaurants. The Flex shuttle stop is at the turn from Rt.6. it gets us anywhere we want to go with no driving. The National Seashore takes up most of the land. We love picking beach plums, blueberries. The wild life is pretty amazing for a resort area.
This is the second time we rented this house, and it is a great property for our annual family reunion. We hope to rent it again next year. The bedrooms have bathrooms en suite so everyone has their privacy. There are two large living rooms and a big dining area. There is a large deck with a hot tub and a patio with a fire pit. It is a great house for a party - we had my husbands birthday party there. The house comes fully equipped with an abundance of linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs and toys, etc. The kitchen has a large selection of pots, pans, dishes, small appliances, etc. More than ample. We did a lot of cooking on the gas grille. This is not a fancy house - it is a typical Cape beach house, so if you are looking for granite counters and Pottery Barn furniture, this won't be the place for you. But if you are looking for a place that is amenable to beach living, the spills of young children, and the presence of a dog (the owner allows my daughter to bring her dog) then this is a great property. There is also a small guest house which we also rent - a perfect little spillover spot. The owner is very responsive. When we emailed her with questions or when small issues came up, she got back to us right away.
My family and I stayed here over the Christmas break. We were all excited for this house as we were all able to have our own rooms and bathrooms, well that turned out not to be the case. The lay out we all had trouble trying to figure out and now we know why. The master bedroom was fine, but 2 of the queen bedrooms were downstairs completely separate from each other, one you had to take a spiral staircase down where the pantry closet should be in the kitchen (closet door still there to close off) & they put in tight spiral stairs, we labeled this t "the dungeon" because that's exactly how it felt. Neither bathroom was actually functional. the one toilet was asked not to use & the shower was open & super low ceilings and the other bathroom had a German toilet that looked pretty old & again another super low ceiling my husband couldn't fit in it. The room with a bathroom in between a queen bed and one with twins was up stairs completely separate from the master that had a spiral staircase with plastic piping as a railing not a real staircase rail and my young nephew was scared of it & it was wobbly. The hot tub wasn't set up, we had to set it up ourselves the owner was very quick to respond & told us how to do it but we weren't too happy we had to hook it up, fill, et. We could tell the house hadn't been used in awhile as it smelt stuffy & musky and the downstairs room especially had so many cob webs we had to clean, the cleaning company definitely didn't do a great job. The back doors had plastic bags in between the doors as insulation! The kitchen was fully equipped & labeled so that was a very nice and a big table that was able to seat everyone. The furniture including the beds were all very worn in and need to be replaced, we added blankets to the futon couch to sit on because we could feel the metal frame. The outside of the house was a disaster though, the landscape hadn't been touched in a long time, there were branches and overgrown trees and loose bricks, the side of the deck was clearly falling apart so at first pull up it definitely didn't look too promising. We went outside to walk around a bit & found a syringe on the pathway which definitely wasn't something I wanted to see & scared us a bit. The house has the potential to be an awesome house but it is in need of a lot of TLC. Also when you pull onto the road it's a dirt road that goes behind construction sites and buildings which should be told to renters.
Large house, quite location. can walk to the bay in 10 minutes. had a great stay with great weather. hosue is quirky and has some maintenance needs, but fine by us. There are some sprial stairs that could be a challenge to some. The cable tv was out, so we missed some things we wanted to watch, but other than that we had fun and will stringly constider a return trip. clean and comfy, owner very responive.
This is a large and fully equipped house, a great spot for a group. The house is fully stocked with linens, towels, beach chairs,, cooking equipment, etc. When we arrived the beds were all made. I have rented houses in this area for years, and often you have to bring your own linens and towels, so this was a particularly appreciated feature. The bedrooms are spread out among all three levels of the house and there are bathrooms attached to all of them, so this meant that everyone could have some privacy which is important when a group that doesn't normally live together is vacationing for a week. The owner is super responsive to any and all requests and very accommodating. The house has some minor repair needs which are about par for the course in a rental property. Nothing that is a big deal for a week. This house is a great value. We had a wonderful time there, and would definitely rent it again.
The house is just as advertised: very private, with plenty of room for ten people. It's also fully equipped with everything you might need, from kitchen equipment to beach towels, tons of games and literally hundreds of movies on VHS and DVD. Teenagers enjoyed visiting the farm and private beaches nearby, and the drive to other towns and public beaches isn't bad at all. Bike riders enjoyed the trails. I would definitely recommend it to others, although the walk to nearby beaches might be a bit much for some people and the house has a couple of spiral staircases that are hard to negotiate. Alot of staircases overall, in fact! But still, we had a great time.
We had a familiy get together. The house is in a great private location. It is large and has several bathrooms. It was clean! The house itself is a destination. It is very interesting. There is artwork built into it. We hope to rent it again. We usually don't think that way. Thanks Veronika!
There is a local farm next door. Fresh eggs, farm animals, horses, horseback riding lessons.
Truro wine yards (under a mile).
Local bus service stops at the turn from Rt.6. No need to look for parking in Provincetown.
