Perfect Home Base for Attending Shows at OSF!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I really enjoyed the one bedroom unit! We were so comfortable there, the bed was very cozy and perfect for my low back issues; and the updated bathroom was lighted well (can't tell from the picture), and the showerhead was great! Even though this is not considered a "full kitchen", we were able to cook many meals during our week there, the owner has thought of everything you could possibly need, besides a stove, to prepare meals. With the Co-Op right across the street, and a Safeway about a mile away, we were able to stock up with groceries easily! Thank you for an excellent "home away from home", Teresa. We will check with you first, the next time we travel to Ashland!

Great location in downtown Ashland!

  • 4 of 5

For Shakespeare and fine dining, this cottage is perfectly located for short walking jaunts. Include the Coop grocery right across the alley and all our needs were satisfied. Very much enjoyed the back patio under a beautiful, old tree umbrella and the well done perennial gardens. We saw four deer eating breakfast one morning! The bed, and bedding, pillows could be upgraded. (Not at all premium, just adequate) Meal prep would be difficult, as there is no oven or cooktop. Fine for snacks and sandwiches. Neighbors next door were considerate, but the walls are thin. We could hear there conversations, so they could hear ours. Overall all, the location landed 4 stars for us!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback! It prompted me to go out and purchase new towels, sheets and pillows for the season. Please remind me on your next visit so I can give you a discount for the inconvenience. I am flummoxed that you did not see the double burner cooktop, electric pots/pans and rice maker? We also have a decent sized convection oven. While the City of Ashland would not allow us to put in a full kitchen, with the various cooking components along with the barbecue in the back, the only thing you couldn't manage to cook is Thanksgiving dinner. As for shared walls, I believe this is expected in lodging accommodations. The way the rooms are set up is such that the living spaces are not shared to minimize noise impact. It is our sincere desire to make our guests as comfortable as possible. I encourage you to reach out during your visit if you find yourself in need of anything.

Perfect spot

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our time at 237 B street. Our one bedroom rental was lovely, comfortable and very convenient. We were a block from the coop and 3-4 from the theaters. We had lots of space to relax in between shows both in the living area and in the shady garden - which was a nice respite from the 90 plus degree heat. The unit is air conditioned also which was appreciated. The kitchen was great for breakfasts and lunches. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Super convenient!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at Teresa's place (in fact, have rented both the 2 bedroom and the 1 bedroom units) for several years and it never disappoints. Its location is perfect -- a mere 1/2 block to the Co-op and just a few easy blocks to the theaters. The streets is quiet, tree-lined, and neighborly. The apartment is nicely renovated and has a small porch where you can sit in a rocking chair and enjoy the garden and shade. Teresa is super responsive and helpful.
