we have never got tired of Les Trois Vallées, summer or winter, with every year finding new places to go and things to do.We love enjoying time here with friends.I am so glad I gave up my day job to do the holiday rentals in the properties, it is a joy to share this stunning place with others and so rewarding.
Mary Lowings purchased this apartment in 2007
We love the picturesque and traditional village of Les Allues. It is the best of all worlds: a traditional French village right in the heart of the Méribel Valley, beautiful any season of the year. The chalet and village have a very warm feeling. The Chalet was totally renovated 5 years ago to a high standard with all modern facilities, but with a cosy Alpine ambiance. Just right to feel very home in the mountains. I am proud to have been awarded 4 stars by the Méribel tourist board and their coveted LaBelMeribel certificate.
The chalet is very spacious with fantastic views. You get more space for your money by not being in the centre, but still easy to access the whole area. The village is quieter than the centre of Meribel, especially at night!
The chalet is GORGEOUS and so beautifully decorated, we loved that Alpine feeling. The views are stunning
We will definitely consider returning, we had such a good holiday.
The rates are for up to 6 people. For the *7th please add £65 or 85 euros per week (* 7th suitable for a child only)

Chalet was lovely, really homely and plenty of space for 6 adults, Les Alues is also great, the village is really friendly and has some nice restaurants and a perfect shop that sells wonderful pastries for a quick breakfast. It is a bit of a distance from the slopes but we used both the bus and the bubble, the later only taking 15 minutes. Would definitly use this chalet again.
The apartment was fantastic, equipped with everything that our family needed for a Christmas holiday. The location makes access to the ski resorts a doddle. So good we have booked again for next year!
The Garden Appartment was just perfect for what we needed. It was spacious and clean with just about every kitchen utensil you could ever need.
The village location is ideal for exploring the Three Valleys either on foot or by bike.
The Chalet offered a perfect place to relax at the end of a hard day's hiking in the mountains. The outdoor space allowed us to enjoy the evening sun with our meal. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful.
Mary's communications were helpful and we felt as though she was genuinely interested in our holiday, she offered useful directions and advice and was on hand if we needed anything.
A super holiday, we only wish we could have stayed longer!
We had a very good time and found the apartment to be excellent. It was exactly as described on the website. We found it particularly useful to have a floor plan of the apartment to help envisage the place. It was clean and well maintained and we found the owner very helpful and easy to deal with. We were provided with an information pack that gave all sorts of useful tips. The location is very convenient for Meribel. You can drive down to the Olympe gondola and park there for free and simply ride the gondola for about 15 minutes up to the centre of Meribel and we found that a very relaxing way to travel. You can also walk down to the gondola from the chalet in 10 to 15 minutes if you prefer but after a days skiing you might prefer not to have to walk back as the last section is uphill to the chalet. I would certainly recommend the location. We ate out in L'Arbé restaurant and we found it very good and a reasonable price. You need to arrive hungry as the portions are pretty substantial, a "petite" salad starter was piled high on a full size dinner plate!! Do book in advance as they typically only do one sitting in the evening and they are closed on Mondays. Les Allues is a quiet village, very suitable for families and ideal for our purposes. While you can organise transport from the airport, we would recommend hiring a car as it's probably cheaper and if you need to do proper grocery shopping you will need it as the local shop is quite small and the nearest large shops are either about 20 minutes down the mountain at Moutiers or up at Meribel.
Nothing to do with the apartment of course but you might want to think about your choice of airport. We flew into Lyon but we found the queues and delays for everything in Lyon both arriving and departing to be horrendous. On arrival we spent a total of about an hour and a half to get through passport control and baggage. On departure we were queueing for two hours in total before we got to the departure gate. You might want to consider Geneva instead even though it may be a longer road trip.
From the first moment of contact with Mary the holiday progressed seamlessly with her continued assistance and helpful information about everything the surroundings had to offer.
Our party consisted of 6 adults of varying ages, some skiing and some walking. The chalet was easily large enough for us and exceptionally comfortable, clean and well catered in terms of kitchen items etc.
I had initially worried that it would be too far from the bus stop/gondola for lugging ones skis around but I need not have worried. The walk to the bus/gondola is all downhill and if the conditions are favourable (which they were) one can ski almost back to the door.
All in all a fabulous chalet which I will hopefully return to.
We had a fabulous New Year ski holiday in this beautiful, cosy and homely chalet. The chalet is spotlessly clean and has lovely finishing touches. The owner Mary is very helpful and attentive. It is our second stay here and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
