We were a group of two families and rented this property for a weeks skiing. The accomodation was larger than we expected with more than enough room for all of us. The apt was very clean & tidy and Steve was very helpful with our booking and advising us about the facilities etc. It is also very easy to get to the slopes with a bus stopping almost outside to take you to the Mairelbahn lift which is a much quicker way to get up the mountain than from Kitbuhel itself. Kirchberg is a short walk down the hill and had enough restraunts and nightlife to keep us amused and the apt has a lovely little bar in the basement if you want to stay in for a quiet drink !! I thourougly recommend this place for skiing especially if you compare it with the shoebox's you get in French resorts for the same mony.
Kirchberg is always nice for skiing. Even with not much snow this year, we managed to have every day good skiing.
We found appartment Serena, with our group of 4 adults and 2 adolescents, very suitable. It has a very cosy sitting area, a nice kitchen, where you can cook and enjoy a conversation with the cook meanwhile. We found the dininig table area a bit small.
The plus off course is a real bar in the house. Awesome.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are good. Although one bed needs seeing to.
This is a very cosy and spacious appartment. In summer you can enjoy the perfect balcony. It is better than the pictures!
This was a great apartment for a family group, well-equipped and very spacious - far bigger than you think from the photos! Beautiful view from the balcony and not far from the bus stop if you don't want to use a car to get to the lifts. If you are a light sleeper or like the window open don't choose the bedrooms on the side of the house next to the street as it is noisy early / late! However all the plus points about this super apartment make this a minor drawback and we would highly recommend it.
Beautiful house, very comfortable, clean and well presented. Nice homely feeling and very close to all amenities. We spent 1 week here in August with 4 kids and really enjoyed Kirchberg as a summer location. We took ski lifts up 2000m and went for walks in the breathtaking scenery, clean air and nothing to be heard but cow bells! Kirchberg os a lovely village and well served by restaurants etc. Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay with our 5 children very much. The apartment was very nice and clean, located not far from the Maierl and Gaisberg ski lifts. It also offered nice extras like the jacuzzi, Sky tv, high-speed internet and parking lots in front. We're looking forward to booking it again and can highly commend it.
The apartment is great, well equipt, spacious and clean. The location is spot on for walking into town in the evening and to the ski bus stop. The views from the apartment are wonderful, you can watch the late skiers coming down at the end of the day whilst your relaxing in the warmth of the apartment. The selection of restaraunts in the town is good and we had no trouble picking a different one each night of our weeks stay. I would say that the service in the Chinese is extremely slow, but the food was ok.
We didn't have a car and still wouldn't hire one if we went back, the buses between ski areas run regularly and there are plenty of taxis about if you need one. We booked a transfer from Salzburg airport, there were 6 of us and it worked out at €50 each return.
I would strongly recommend trying the toboggan run, it's well lit so can be done in the evening, it is great fun and the bar at the top of the run is open till 9.30 so refreshments aren't a problem.
The Austrian people are lovely and very helpful. Steve, the owner of the apartment was bombarded with lots of questions before we left and was always prompt in his replies and extremely helpful. We will be back.
