About Tim and Kathy Gaughen

Aloha,

We recently relocated to this beautiful community from the Big Island of Hawaii. We lived on the island for 35 years where we raised a family and fully enjoyed the island style of living. When we retired, though, we knew it was time for a change.

Back in California after all those years in Puna, Volcano, and Kona, we now enjoy the proximity of children, grandchildren and extended family.

Tim and Kathy Gaughen purchased this house in 2011

Why Tim and Kathy Gaughen chose North Coast California

Like Kona, Fort Bragg is a spectacular Pacific Coast community. This property offers space, beauty, redwoods, wildlife, and comfort.

Wonderful Vacation Spot!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I actually had our wedding ceremony and reception at this house. It was perfect for our small ceremony. We enjoyed the rest of our stay alone for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with our stay. We will definitely be back! Tim and Kathy were so nice and understanding. Thanks for celebrating our love with us!!

In a word "Enchanting"!

  • 5 of 5

My family (2 children - 3 and 5), and 6 adults stayed at Chateau Cleone for the weekend in July and as soon as I walked into the home the first word that I thought of was "Enchanting". Everything about this home was wonderful, from the hot tub surrounded by redwoods, to the many amenities provided - to the well stocked kitchen (not the food of course) but utensils, spices, etc., the bedrooms were lovely with matching curtains and wallpaper, the bathrooms were very well appointed and very clean. Everything was very clean. Lots of games and books and puzzles. Tim and Kathy thought of everything! There was lots of room to spread out in and we could not have been happier. The Skunk Train was a few minutes away and the whole family loved it! McKerricher State Park was just a few minutes away and that also, was an adventure for us all - from tide pooling to walking along the wooden boardwalk of the park - we even saw a few whale spouts! What a treat. Thank you Tim and Kathy for allowing us to share your vacation home and for creating wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!
