Conway NH Waterfront 3+ Bedroom 2.5 Bath (Sleeps 10)
About Sheryl Dickey
This place is one of our favorite places in the world. From enjoying the sunset on the porch, to swimming with the kids in the pond, to going for an adventure in the canoe - this is our idea of paradise. We were fortunate to be able to buy this property and have worked hard to make it the perfect family destination. Amy grew up here and then went off to Colby in ME, to work in DC, and study at Yale SOM. Sheryl grew up in Massachusetts and has many happy memories of adventures to NH with her family. She went off to Smith, American for law school, and Vermont Law School to study environmental law. Now we live in Massachusetts and spend as much time as we can in Conway - enjoying the mountains and spending time with friends and family. We look forward to making many happy memories at this home, on Pea Porridge Pond, and in this area - taking fun jaunts to the slopes and to Storyland with our two kids. This home is very special to us and we hope our guests will enjoy it as much as we do.
Sheryl Dickey purchased this House in 2015
Why Sheryl Dickey chose Conway
This home is our little slice of heaven. Amy grew up next door - making forts in the woods, fishing on the dock with her nana, and hiking with her friends on local trails. We bought this home so that we could give our kids the opportunity to grow up in the mountains next door to their cousins. This house has everything we want in a vacation home. When we are there, we are happy to stay home and enjoy all that the property has to offer - coffee on the porch, reading on the dock, and swimming, boating, and goofing around on the pond. But we also look forward to introducing our kids to all of the wonders of the White Mountains, including tubing on the Saco, hiking in the mountains and skiing in the winter.
What makes this House unique
This house is special for many reasons. The outside is so quiet and the house is surrounded by woods with a nice grassy area for playing and only one neighbor visible (our family in the house next door). The house itself is located on a very sleepy cove. Gas-powered water crafts are not allowed on the pond so the only noise is the sound of the woods and the call of the loons. Inside, we love the layout because it never feels crowded. Everyone can hang out together upstairs or the kids can go downstairs to watch a movie, play games, or play ping pong. And there is nothing better than sitting out on the porch enjoying the evening as the sun goes down or enjoying a boisterous family. Plus, while you feel like you are tucked away in the woods, if you need anything like groceries, it is just 15 minutes down the road.

We had a great time!
A great mountain lake getaway,
The house and grounds were clean and well maintained. The views were spectacular.
The kayaks and canoe were in great shape easy to access and put in the lake. All in all a great place for a group of friends or a family to get away and enjoy nature.
Wonderful house and location
The house is very well located with private access to Pea Porridge Pond that has crystal clear water in which to swim. Kayaks and a canoe are available to explore the pond and the view from the house of the lake and mountains is just perfect. The house is super well equipped and very comfortable. There are a lot of games and amenities for all ages. Don't bother to bring your books; the house has one of the best literary collections that we have seen in a rental. The host was extremely responsive although the house instructions and everything else was well described and didn't result in our needed anything. It was simply wonderful and we cannot wait to return.
Wonderful house, fishing and loons. Read in screened porch while smelling pines. Lots to do nearby. Great week
Great summer vacation place for a family
Clean, spacious, modern house in a quiet cove on a quiet lake. Beautiful sunset views, easy access from a paved road, good boating (3 kayaks and a canoe) and swimming, friendly year-round neighbors.
Serenity and peace
This is our 4th year at the White Mountain lake house, each year adds to the enjoyment of our time on Pea Porridge pond. The peace and serenity of this home is unmatched to any we have stayed. From kayaking to enjoying the Loons and other wildlife is amazing. This home is good for families as well as couples looking for a romantic getaway and just relaxing..
