Mammoth Lakes Condo Rental Photos and Description

Please email or call for availability. We truly are owners with full time jobs, not a booking company, but do check our email several times throughout the day.

We have two townhouse style, pet friendly, condominiums located on a cul-de-sac, perfect for dog walks, located directly next door to each other.

Tyrolean Village is a quaint complex centrally located less than a mile from Canyon Lodge, Eagle Express and The Village. This townhouse has wonderful mountain views, cathedral ceilings with a skylight, a nice comfortable carpeted living room with fireplace, 50' flat screen TV, cable TV, and Blu-ray DVD.

Master bedroom features a comfortable king bed with 32' Flat Screen TV and DVD. Second bedroom(s) feature a bunk bed with a twin over a double and a 32' Flat Screen TV. Kitchen has nice tile counter tops, stainless appliances, smooth top range, and dishwasher for easy clean up. We have two condos located directly next door to each other. One is a 2 bdr and the other is 3 bdr. If you desire or need more room you can upgrade to the 3 bdr unit.

Close to Shuttle, Eagle Express, Canyon Lodge, and The Village!

Dog Friendly.

Our 2 bedroom condo was our home for over 15 years, and has been nicely updated. This unit is very comfy with a homelike, mountain cabin feeling.

Great place for a weekend getaway

My husband and I stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. Great place, pretty well maintained and convenient to everything in Mammoth. Our dog really really loved the dog bed that was in the living room- thanks for that! Would definitely stay here again in the winter.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was roomy with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well supplied and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace after a long day of skiing. We would recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent accomadations, Effortless arrival and departure

Stayed at the condo recently and it was very nice and clean. Great location (easy access to Canyon, Eagle lodge, and the Village), nice amenities, well kept, comfortable bedding, and spacious. (Very comfortable for 4 adults.) We also appreciate the flexibility of the owner, Caleb, who was willing to work with us on dates. Overall, we loved this place and definitely would stay here again (possibly each season if available). Anyone who wants a nice, comfortable stay in Mammoth (with a home away from home yet vacation feel) should highly consider staying here.

Excellent ski vacation!

We were very happy with this rental. The unit was in great shape, with good accessories. The bus pick up for the ski hill is right down the street and a short drive to the ski hill. Free Wi-Fi is good. The owner is very responsive. Overall a great experience.

Great condo

We stayed at this property for a week and we really enjoyed staying here. It was very cozy and had all the basic amenities needed. It's walking distance to the village. Parking was convenient. The owner is very easy to work with and he responds to you very quickly. Renting the property was easy and convenient. We will definitely stay again.

A realistic description of this place

Depending on your expectations, this place may be fine for you, but our experience didn't fit the description or most reviews. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could, but it doesn't deserve 3. The layout of this place is nice and the living room is cozy with a great view. The kitchen looks fine, but definitely doesn't have the basics for cooking full meals. There were no dish towels or hot pads/oven mitts, only a 1/4 cup measure, and no cutting board that we could find. The pots and pans are mostly in bad condition without lids that fit. I emailed the owner about the lack of kitchen linens and cutting board soon after arrival and he did have the cleaning service bring them by promptly but how were they not there to begin with??? Also, one of the two large burners of the stove is broken. There isn't actually a place for the dining room table. It's folded off to the side and if you actually wanted to use it you'd have to put it in the middle of the living room and it would be pretty cramped. There was only 2 of us so we just ate on the couch. The bathrooms are in desperate need of repair and renovation. One pane of the upstairs glass shower is completely cracked. Rather than getting it fixed, the owner put a note on it warning that hot water on cold glass cracks it. That shower is not safe and the other one is pretty gross. In one of the descriptions I received from the owner, he described high thread count linens and high end shampoo etc, trying to make the place sound upscale. The bed linens are quite old and dingy and a couple of bottles of bed, bath, and beyond aren't that fancy. Finally, the heating situation. The wood burning stove is the only source of heat for the upstairs. It more than sufficiently heats the upstairs but you'll need to be able to chop firewood and feel comfortable building a fire multiple times a day. The two heaters downstairs are not sufficient in the winter. When we arrived they were completely off and as described by the owner they take time to warm up. A long time. The bedroom was still unbearably cold by the time we went to bed the first night and the downstairs remained chilly the whole time we were there. It might have been a nice gesture for the owner to have the cleaning service turn on the heaters a couple hours before we checked in. The location and view from the living room are nice and if you don't plan to cook much, don't mind feeling like you're camping a bit, and are just there to ski/snowboard, it might be fine.

Owner's Response: We are very sorry you didn’t enjoy the condo and hope you found something positive in your vacation. Your comment about the kitchen has prompted us to do a kitchen inventory. It helps us when our guests let us know that they need something so we can bring it to them immediately as we did with you. Did you bring your own ax, there is not one at the condo? I lived in this condo for 15 years and never owned or used an ax. The size of the logs fit perfect in the wood stove. Once a fire is started it will last the entire day if stoked. We put two new pots with lids in the condo two weeks before your stay. They must have been overlooked. The log bar top has three stools, the table is extra in case there are more than 4 people and you simply need to pull up the sides so it takes minutes. The bathrooms have been remodeled as the pictures show; the shower is safe but does need to be redone. It’s been tough with four drought years but we are planning on a fantastic winter and replacing the entire shower this spring. We leave the heat on downstairs all winter. We take pride in being able to provide a cozy, clean affordable condo. It was perfect for me, a teacher in town, for 15 years. Hopefully your vacation wasn’t all bad and you were able to have some fun.
