Guestbook comments from the owner

This rental was wonderful! It is literally right on the banks of the Grand River, which would be great for fishing in the summer. The house was clean and has a lot of nice woodwork in it. The kitchen is definitely galley size, but was easy to cook in. We look forward to a summer stay when we can be able to use kayaks on the river.

Beautiful location and so relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

This wonderful cottage is tucked away right on the Grand River. It is such a relaxing place to be, but so many opportunities to explore are right down the road! From kayaking, to wine tours (amazing wineries in the area!), to shopping the strip, and more! The owner was SO easy to work with, and she answered all of my questions in great detail (and I ask alot!) The house makes it easy to get away, as it has all the essentials needed to be able to have an enjoyable time away. I recommend this cottage for anyone coming to this area! I have already said that if we go back, we will be staying here again!

Totally enjoyed our stay at this property. Location for perfect for our needs and the setting on the Grand River was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We rented canoes and kayaks for a location close by and was able to enjoy the river along with fishing. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for our girls group. It was a quiet, peaceful retreat, yet close to everything at the same time. The house was very clean and even more charming than it appeared in the pictures. Erica was great and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again!

The property was as pictured and described on the web site.

  • 5 of 5

We were in the area for a baby sprinkle, and really enjoyed the home like atmosphere after 7 - 10 hours of travel. The property was squeaky clean when we arrived - a real plus. Erica was super easy to work with. The deck facing the river was large and added a nice touch. Wish we could have enjoyed it more, but our time was short and the weekend was rainy. One unexpected item was the spiral staircase to the two bedrooms and bath upstairs. This posed no problem for our group, but a item I felt worth mentioning. Everything considered, I would definitely recommend River's Edge Cottage.
