I was told I'm a very easy person, easy to get along with too! I just try to give what I would like to receive when I go abroad and from everyday's life too! For me your holiday starts when You send me an e-mail so no stress in the booking procedures and regarding payment which means friendly but professional attitude too. (To reserve the apartment there is a legal contract and You will have my ID, I've never ever sent money without having a contract.....I just try to give what I would like to receive. Another thing to try to make You understand a little bit more of my friendly-professional attitude, if You have a friend or a colleague in town able to come to have a look at the apartment ( according to the availability of the apartment) I would be glad to have coffee with them showing the apartment...I HAVE EVERYTHING TO SHOW

Excellent location but photos no longer accurately depict the current decor.

  • 3 of 5

We are a couple from Southern California traveling with our 16 year old daughter. We rented the apartment for 9 nights Spring 2018. This property is very well located, large, clean, and comfortable. It is a short walk to notable restaurants Emma, Pianostrada, and Nonna Betta. There are, however, a couple of negatives that guests should be aware of. First, the photos no longer accurately depict the current furnishings or decor. For example the attractive slipcovered sofa in the lead photo has been replaced with a modern brown synthetic fabric sofa which looks like it came from IKEA. The attractive bedspreads in the photos have been replaced with unattractive patterned ones. The bed pillows are lumpy, uncomfortable and really should be replaced. The furniture and artwork is fairly low quality and the whole interior feels a bit dingy and shabby. The interior does not present nearly as well as in the photos. Another thing to note is the cul de sac alley the property is located on is strewn with rubbish, broken bottles and a discarded mattress. There is a lot of graffiti on the walls and one of the cars parked there looks like it has been abandoned. That said, it is a very good location and we never once felt unsafe. Another thing to note is one (or maybe two) of the ground floor units facing the alley are rented for the purposes of storing products that are sold in Campo dei Fiori during the day. Every morning before 6:00 AM the units are opened and men move their display equipment and products to the market a couple of blocks away. The loading and moving is very noisy. It didn't bother us too much but is something to consider. Heat and A/C work, the water pressure is a bit low but nothing to complain about. The kitchen is equipped well enough to make a meal. Overall I'd rate the location an "A"; the cul du sac alley appearance is a "D"; the apartment cleanliness is an "A"; and the apartment decor is a "C". The management is very attentive, helpful, and professional. With some furnishing upgrades and if the neighbors cleaned up the alley from time to time the property would be 5 stars.

Attractive property and great location

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the My Magic Rome property. We were in the heart of the central district ... perfect for a short walk to so many of the famous sites. The place was very nice; water pressure sometimes was slight, but no big deal. Sarina was fabulous, so helpful and responsive. We would stay there again.

close to everything

  • 4 of 5

This property was close to everything, we walked everywhere. There were many of the famous sites and restaurants near by. We enjoyed walking around through the narrow cobblestone streets as well. The apartment was clean and provided us with space for 4 comfortably.

Great location for discovering Rome

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 stayed at this apartment for 8 nights. We thought the location was perfect! It is located down a side alley a few blocks from the Campo de' Fiori market which is always a bustling place. It was a short walk to the Piaza Navona and the Trastevere area (good place to eat). Also close to the Ghetto region (great place to eat-try the artichoke and great gelatto at Scimmia Factory). We walked everywhere, except for taking a bus to the Borghese Gallery and the Catacombs. The apartment was very clean and the 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, plus a pull out sofa, were great for a family of 5 (3 girls, aged 18-24). Girls were able to go off and explore on their own. Very safe area. Actually everywhere we went felt very safe, other than you should be conscious of pick pockets (we never had an issue). There is a grocery store a block away. Good to buy something for breakfast at the apartment.

The 'My Magic Rome Team' was very responsive to any questions I had before the trip. They arranged the reservations to the Galleria Borghese before we went. We used the Roma Pass to pay for entrance, but you need to make reservations ahead of time. During our stay, Karina, the apartment manager was super friendly and helpful. The airline lost one of our pieces of luggage on the way in. She was great in offering to intercede to make sure it was returned in a timely manner. She also arranged to have the apartment cleaned mid-week. Nice to have fresh linens and towels. She is a real asset if you have any questions about where to go or what to do while in Rome. Thanks Karina!

It was in the mid 90's the beginning of our trip. The AC in the apartment worked well and was a welcome relief after a day walking around. Some noise in AM. Didn't 't think it was too bad, after all you are in a city!

Some of our favorite places...

-Nonna Vincenza cake shop just around the corner. Great to relax with a cup of cappuccino and a pastry. Some of the best cookies we had in Italy we found here,

-Cul de Sac restaurant, a block away from Piaza Navona - great place to try different wines. Have a huge selection.

-Took a tour of Tuscany with City Wonders (booked thru Viator). Andy was our guide. Definitely recommend this trip. Enjoyed the day and they took the time to give great tips/advice about Rome to each family group.

-Great dinner at the little restaurant right by the apartment (corner of Vicolo della Madonella and Vicolo delle Grotte (name?)

Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location for this apartment! It was safe, near the wonderful Campo De' Fiori Market, dining, and within walking distance of most major tourist attractions. It was easy to walk everywhere and near a bus stop. Karina was fabulous in telling us about the area and gave us great advice on where to dine, organized a driver to and from the airport, and reserved a fabulous private tour of the Coliseum and Forum. She even took the time to teach us to make Italian coffee which we fell in love with and ended up buying our own Italian coffee pot to bring back to the US! We will definitely stay here the next time we return and recommend it to friends!
