Oscar and Tori selected Todos Santos as their home in Mexico after years of researching tropical paradises. After retiring from teaching high school art and Oscar from the business world, the two are following their dreams of painting and golfing and surfing in Baja
Tori Sepulveda purchased this cottage in 2012
this location is outstanding for its privacy while still being close to town and to the beach. We are located at the edge of town so it is easy walking or quick driving distance to access all that Todos Santos has to offer.
Whether for the artist, the sports enthusiast or the person who wants the connection with town, this property is located to take full advantage of the things Todos Santos has to offer. Hiking, surfing, fishing, bicycling, photography, bird watching, painting, or just relaxing on the property, can all be enjoyed close by. I love to sit on the patio of the guest casita, looking out over the palm orchard, watching the sunset and the bird life. It is so comfortable and tranquil here.
Wonderful spot in a beautiful little 'compound' in the heart of a country town. The accommodations are very comfortable with all of the 'mod-cons' one might need on a short or extended stay. The hosts more than gracious and unobtrusive. I will more than likely be back and if visiting the pacific coast of BCS certainly stay at at this property.
Our stay over the 2015 Christmas week was absolutely perfect. Our Hosts paid attention to every detail of their property, and as a result the villa, garden and grounds are in pristine condition making a very comfortable stay in a private and safe oasis type of environment. We cooked easily in the kitchen and enjoyed consistent warm showers and the quality sheets on an oh so comfy bed. The villa is set back of the property so there is never any street noises and we slept really well there. Each morning we were able to sit our on our own deck and enjoy the beauty of the environment, and then spend time at the pool during the heat of the day. We just happened to be lucky to be apart of a great Christmas Eve party put on by Tori and Oscar with all their community friends. They are so knowledgable about the area, and obviously loved by the people they live amongst. We left this gorgeous spot with the feeling that we have found a beautiful gem of a place and can hardly wait to tell our friends about it. We loved their well behaved puppies too ( who totally understand English )and made us feel like we belonged at their house!
Our first visit to Todos Santos was made so enjoyable because of our stay here Feb 22- March 2nd. The host and hostess, Oscar and Tori have a very hospitable manner, helpful advice, recommendations for what to do, ( swim with whale sharks in La Paz is a must) to booking reservations or recommending where to eat or what you are looking for. My husband and I felt like we were treated as family as we were given a quick tour of the town our first morning! Very clean, nice hot shower and super comfortable bed. The pool and the covered pool casita has chairs and couches. The pool is wonderful and the two dogs Dante and Chico are the friendliest dogs ever. This comes from me, a person that can be nervous around dogs. Kitchen full sized fridge, drinkable running water but also provided a water cooler, a nice touch we appreciated. The property is gated and secure where you drive in and are completely safe on their grounds, where at the back of the property are two hammocks. A little haven for a lovely holiday. This is the place if you want good location to stroll 10- 15 minutes into the heart of town, safe, secure, comfortable and helpful hosts willing to ensure the holiday is a very good one. This is one of the reasons we would return to Todos Santos and stay here again. The only thing missing is a beach view, but then you can jump in your car for a short drive for that or walk to a nearby hotel rooftop for a drink at sunset.
We stayed in the casita during the Music Festival for 8 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. This was our second stay and I think we enjoyed ourselves even more than we did in 2013.
The casita has good inside and outside sitting areas, comfy bed and is very clean. The kitchen is suitable for meal preparation however the most complicated food we cooked was scrambled eggs - there is just too much good food around Todos Santos to stay at home. We liked to walk to and from town, which was about an easy 15 minute stroll so and enjoy the food and maragaritas on offer.
Tori and Oscar, the hosts, were again super friendly and looked after us with tips and information, ensuring we had a great time. We are very grateful for the warm hospitality they display.
If you are thinking of a stay, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely accommodation and beautiful hosts to you.
Arriving to “La Casita” during the middle of our trip was like arriving home and being greeted by friends. Owners Oscar and Tori provided us with advice on restaurants, local hikes, and running routes around town.
The stars in heaven aligned and our good fortune unfolded when we clicked on this link to book this little slice of paradise in Mexico. Upon arriving to this little oasis, we were greeted by the two most welcoming spirits, Oh, I mean four most amazing spirits who all made us feel right at home here in Todos Santos. First of all, the place is even better in person, and far exceeded our expectations of a relaxing, comfortable and fun place to spend two weeks soaking up the sun and fun of Baja. Without repeating the words of many previous reviewers, I can only say, everything you read is TRUE of Oscar and Tori as hosts, and their amazing dogs, Dante and Chico as well as the way they go above and beyond the call of duty to make their guests feel like family in this sweet community. We enjoyed every minute of our two weeks. Oscar and Tori helped to facilitate our many outings such as Fishing for Wahoo, swimming with the whale sharks in the sea of cortez, hiking, shopping, and even a trip to see the mountain ranches of the Sierras. We truly feel we have gained a new appreciation for this region and have made some new friends for life in the process. If you book this, you will not regret it for a moment. We enjoyed having a car, but really did not use it that much as we walked to most places in town.
