Very proud to have 4.9 out of 5 star ratings! (The noise that used to emanate from the club across the street is no longer an issue. It has closed and zoning will not allow another club to open on this block.)
The refundable deposit covers both damage and noise.
We have installed sound-deadening draperies to address the concerns of our guests and have been very pleased with the results.

We both live in Savannah, but not in the Historic District. We use this condo ourselves, so we make sure it is comfortable and offers all the amenities necessary to make your stay memorable.
The walkability of Savannah is one of it's most unique features. Park your car upon arrival and don't go back to it until it's time to leave. A pass to the Whitaker Street/City Market Garage is available with our condo.
Loved staying here for a weekend in January! So close to shopping, food, morning breakfast, river street. We walked everywhere we wanted to go in town. The condo was clean, cute, and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again the next time that we come.
We had a great time at this location! You are within minutes to many restaurants, bars and entertainment venues! The host was helpful and responsive! We will definitely be returning!
The host communicated clearly and made himself available to us, if we needed him. We felt welcomed in this beautifully renovated condo located in a fabulous spot, located near several parks and directly on Broughton Street for shopping.
We brought our 2 dogs, and we were so pleasantly surprised at how dog friendly this area was. Though be sure to bring your dog bags, as the many parks nearby do not provide them.
The only slight negative were the late-night college aged students leaving the bars screaming in the streets, but minor inconvenience for a great home base, close to everything.
We would gladly book again.

The condo is located in a very lively area. We are city dwellers ourselves so the noise level did not bother us. The unit was within walking distance to River Street, restaurants, shopping & nightlife. It was a great place to stay to explore all Savannah has to offer.
We loved our stay & found Richard's condo perfect for us!
We stayed with our two small dogs for 3 days in October. Richard made sure we were taken care of and communication was a breeze. Apartment is in great condition, renovated, convenient and within walking distance to absolutely every landmark/point of interest in downtown Savannah. Will definitely visit again!
This is my first time using Home Away and I was really satisfied with the whole experience.
Myself, my wife, and her two sister's visited Savannah to celebrate her older sister's birthday. We also wanted to bring our 2 dogs along which is how we ended up looking at vacation rentals as opposed to hotels. After looking at several options we chose this property because it seemed central to places and sites we wanted to visit, allowed pet's, the price was great, it had good reviews, and it seemed very cozy from the pictures. The booking process was very simple. After we requested to stay Richard, our host, responded right away and answered all of my questions.
Once we arrived and saw the place in-person we knew we made a great decision. The loft was the perfect size for our group. It is one bedroom but the sofa has a pull out bed. We also loved the interior styling of the loft. Everything looks newly renovated and the brick walls and wood flooring are beautiful. The location is also as advertised. It is right on Broughton St. which has a ton of retail stores and restaurants in walking distance and right around the corner is Ellis square which includes more dining, boutiques, and a park where I walked our dogs. The park doesn't have bags to pick up after your dogs though so I'd recommend bringing a few. It is also within walking distance of River St. and more.
We ended up getting the parking pass which Richard took out of our deposit which I liked because street parking was hard to find since it was the weekend. We were able to walk everywhere we visited except for a trip to Tybee Island which is about a 30 minute drive away and the grocery store.
We had a great time and will definitely choose this place again if we are in Savannah. And thanks to Richard who in addition to being a great host helped me out by offering to mail my laptop I left. Luckily I was just around the corner when he found it and I was able to come back and pick it up :D
