We proudly offer you two historical apartments: the Ludmila and Katerina. Both are part of our residence which dates to 1527.
The Ludmila is perched at the top of our building and offers unique views of the castle, park and city. It has two small bedrooms, full kitchen and bathroom with hydro massage tub.
The Katerina apartment is a completely new apartment. It was just renovated and bookings are starting from August 2015. It has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large living room and separated kitchen.
The apartments are fully equipped for cooking and just hanging out. There is free Wi Fi and satellite TV too.
But maybe the best feature of our apartments is their location. We are directly across from the steps to the castle and just a few minutes walk to Charles Bridge and Old Town.
From the cobbled streets and details outside to the hidden gardens nearby that tourists often never find.
So you can essentially walk everywhere from here. You might not even use public transport while you're here. It's that easy!
The combination of our unique apartment, our historical building and location will make your holiday or vacation unforgettable. We promise.
And, we'll be here to help if you need something. We work a bit differently since the apartment is part of a collection of apartments in our residence. So if you need something just stop by my office downstairs.
The Ludmila is a gorgeous attic apartment that has a breathtaking panoramic view of Prague and the castle. The apartment has two separate bedrooms, a small dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is fully modern with a hydro massage bathtub, bidet and toilet. The apartment is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or for a family/group of 4. The apartment has satellite TV, Wi Fi, air conditioning and central heating. There is also a computer terminal available for internet use.
Ludmila is absolutely a friendly, kind, cosy and lovely apertment.
I could say olny good things about the 3 day that we spent there. Everybody was very kind, and helpful, and the breakfast was good.
So we thank you very very much that we can use it.
I could offer to everybody because it is in a lovely place next to the Prague castle.
We stayed in the Ludmila & thought it was great! The location was excellent and we loved that you had to go through several flights of stairs & use multiple keys to get to the Ludmila, which is located in the attic; it was like our secret hideaway. Very pleasant to look out the windows atop the Mala Strana & Hradcany sections of Prague! We would like to stay here again.
I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Prague. The Ludmilla feels spacious, has beautiful old architecture, and gorgeous views. The housekeeper, Irena, was charming and very helpful, and the building is very clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood is perfect for walking EVERYWHERE on foot in the city, and doesn't feel as commercial or touristy as Old Town. The price is very reasonable when you consider that for the same cost, you could be getting a small hotel room, but here it really felt like a place to come home to and stretch out. I would recommend the Ludmilla to anyone traveling to Prague.
100% lovely! We loved the location and walked everywhere. The apartment was totally secure and safe. The photos are accurate and the listed amenities are accurate. We stayed in the “Mariam” studio. We were a bit hesitant because of the apartment being a ground level we were concerned with past experiences of a musty, dark apartment. Dean, our host spoke fluent English and was more than helpful. He said that the “Mariam” apartment is not musty but the others apartments on the higher levels do offer more light. We went for the “Mariam” because of the price, the tub and the romantic atmosphere. We made a GREAT decision! The apartment was clean and wonderful! The Jacuzzi tub was welcoming after having walked all day. Dean arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and sure enough (not always our experience!) we exited the gate and there the taxi driver was holding a placard with our name. Again, at 3:45 am, days later to return to the airport – our taxi driver greeted us promptly and friendly even at such an hour. 100% recommendation!
We loved the location of the apartment as it was right at the bottom of the stairs to the Castle and about a 15-20 min walk to the very center of old Prague.
However, I think that it is overpriced as compared to others in the area and the rest of our 3 week vacation to other places. Beds were comfortable.
For the price it lacked a washer/dryer, NO SHOWER, only tub with hand held sprayer (very difficult for the adults) was not stocked very well....no soap, no coffee, the sugar had dead ants in it, the non-stick pans were so badly scratched that we got black specks in our food, no extra trash bags, dishwasher but no soap for it, etc. It lacked the necessities. It was loud at night at there is a restaurant about 3 doors down that does medieval type dinners twice a night and the music and laughter was exceptionally hard to sleep with. There is an 'air conditioner' but its very small and only cools the main bedroom and after about 30 min of running, it starts making so much racket that it has to be turned off at night. The parking was a huge issue and it took a very long time to find a place less than a 20 min walk from the apartment (even after asking the manager about it, he stated about 10)! The parking was on the street and not it a 'great' neighborhood. Loading and unload our suitcases was an issue due to the narrow one way street which the apt is located on.
The manager was nice and speaks perfect English as he is American.
Prague was my favorite city but stay somewhere else or in one of their other apartments.
We are located in historic Mala Strana. This is the oldest and most charming neighbourhood in Prague. We are directly next to Prague Castle so you can walk to all places of interest from here. Prague Castle is a 3 minute walk from us. Charles Bridge is just 5 minutes away and Old Town Square is a 15 minute walk. There are great transport connections nearby as well.
You will not find a more attractive and quieter place to spend your holiday. Our street is calm with nearly no traffic and it ends with the back stairs to Prague Castle. You will never find the noisy crowds of Old Town near our building.
Some of our apartments have incredible views of our area. Mala Strana, or Little Quarter. Mala Strana is filled with passageways, galleries, cafes, restaurants and many styles of architecture. Our building alone has a wonderful story to tell. Nearby sights include: St. Nicholas' Church, Strahov Monastery, Church of Loreto, Petrin Park and the Infant of Prague Church.
