The peace and serenity of this cabin and its great location are what persuaded me to buy it for our family. It has already given us opportunities to get together as a family that we wouldn't have had otherwise. Even though I live far away, it's still my favorite place.
It's a great family cabin with room for all and endless fun activities in the area.
Judy, Andrew, Ryan and Luke Tingle purchased this cabin in 2011
It's a great family cabin with room for all and endless fun activities in the area .....fishing, tubing, river rafting, boating, swimming, hiking, and just hanging out. lt's close to everything........rivers, Lake Blue Ridge, restaurants, and shopping, but you feel like you have the woods to yourself when you're there.
It's a great family cabin with room for all and endless fun activities in the area.
We take pride in keeping our cabin pretty, well-stocked and clean, to ensure that our guests have a comfortable, relaxing stay.
The great outdoors at your finger tips, close to everything! A creek for the kids and woods to explore. Deer and other wildlife have been known to drop by also.
You can choose to have a quiet weekend or one filled with adventure.
Although I was not personally able to enjoy your beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge, the other members of the family were over the moon! Everything was great (with minor exceptions). Plenty of space, comfortable bedding, etc. Although advertised, there was no air hockey, foosball games but then the weather was great so not a lot of time spent in the cabin.....Thanks again and hopefully next time I will be able to enjoy!
We loved this house! Stayed here with another family, and there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. The location is very peaceful and secluded. Nice to have the basement for the teenagers. We drove to raft the Ocoee about an hour away which was a blast. The owners were very helpful and responsive and the house was very clean and welcoming.
What an extremely nice and beautiful cabin all tucked away on a mountainside "Not another cabin in sight"!!! The Tingles have the most accommodating cabin I have stayed in in the Blue Ridge area (I love Blue Ridge and come 1-2 times a year!). On this trip I brought my 3 grandchildren, ages 19, 20 & 21. This cabin suited our needs perfectly as each had their own bedroom - the 19 year old chose the bunk room rather than sharing her sister's room - and she said over and over how comfortable her bunk was! Another great feature that I haven't had in renting cabins before, was there was a living room upstairs and the very comfortable den downstairs - both with big-screen tv's. At night we enjoyed watching rented movies and playing Yahtzee and Monopoly (several games were stocked in the cabin). The hot tub was great too! Never before in other cabins have I had an abundant supply of towels and blankets! The Tingles have gone out of their way to make this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I just can't say enough about this great discovery I have made in this cabin and I highly recommend a stay in this cabin to others. I hope to stay here again, too!!!!
The driveway up to the cabin for me at 73 years old was a bit intimidating but I had 3 adventurous kids who took turns driving up and down - they loved it!!!
There are so many activities in the area - we chose hiking to Fall Branch Falls which is beautiful, the grandchildren did the Canopy Zip Line which is an exciting adventure, we all rode the Blue Ridge train to McCaysville/Copperhill and ate a delicious lunch at The Prearly Gates, and our last day we did a 3-hour float trip on the Toccoa River ( this fun-adventure was on Aska Rd and was only about 10 miles from the cabin.). We shopped downtown in the neat shops and enjoyed a "must trip" to Merciers Orchard for a great lunch and a purchase of fried pies to take home! Other great restaurants we enjoyed were Serenity Garden Cafe, Harvest on Main, Masseria, Mesquite Grill, and Joe's BBQ.
Thank you to each of the Tingles for sharing your cabin with us - you made our Blue Ridge vacation a very memorable vacation! Your "Pine Cone Cabin is the greatest and I can't wait to come again!!!
Enjoyed our experience. Cabin was stocked with everything you need. Loved the fire pit! Liked that switches were labeled but could be refreshed. Queen beds were ok but one king would be great. We would definitely rent this one again! Family that visited loved it too.
The cabin was nice and the scenery was awesome. It was stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed being in the mountains in the woods. We saw deer nearly every day; no bears. A snake even decided to join us in the hot tub. Sitting on the porch enjoying the birds singing was probably my favorite thing about it; there was even a birds nest under the porch with babies.
The directions given to us made is easy to find the cabin. The driveway was a bit steep and unfortunately we ended up having to keep one of our vehicles parked, it messed up our transmission.
We went to The Lost Sea, went tubing, hiked out to waterfalls, hiked to the swinging bridge, shopped in Blue Ridge and other places; everything was only a short drive away.
I would recommend this cabin to anyone whom would be looking for a cabin of that size.
Secluded, but you could find white-water rafting, kayaking, tubing, water-skiing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and hunting, all within a 10-30 minute drive.
