About Judy, Andrew, Ryan and Luke Tingle

The peace and serenity of this cabin and its great location are what persuaded me to buy it for our family. It has already given us opportunities to get together as a family that we wouldn't have had otherwise. Even though I live far away, it's still my favorite place.

It's a great family cabin with room for all and endless fun activities in the area.

Judy, Andrew, Ryan and Luke Tingle purchased this cabin in 2011

Very private, clean and enjoyable

  • 4 of 5

We spent three nights at the cabin and had a lovely time. Had four boys with us and they thoroughly enjoyed exploring the woods, playing in and around the creek and climbing the red clay ropes course. Right out the door fire pit with lots of seating was very nice. We spent most of our time on the porch listening to the creek below while reading and catching up.

We enjoyed having separate areas for the kids and adults. Cabin has great insulation so even with four boys, noise wasn't an issue.

Only two things would have made it perfect - it would have been nice to have a hair dryer (I know, I could have brought one, but while packing for four boys, I forgot it). Secondly, we wish that one of the queen size beds had a different mattress. All three are super super soft. Would have been nice to have an option for something more supportive or firmer on one of the beds.

Cabin is well stocked and VERY clean. Very comfortable.

Perfect mountain get away!

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our trip to Blue Ridge, and our stay in the Tingle's cabin. The house is just as shown, was clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was full of pots and pans and cutlery for our party of 10. The 4 adults were mostly on the main floor, we used the 2 queen bedrooms on that floor, and relaxed in the living room. Our 6 children were ensconced in the lower level, the 2 bedrooms had a queen bed and 2 sets of bunk beds, and a family room, and a full bath.

The kids especially enjoyed the foosball multi-sport table. I was surprised, we even had several games of chess! We also enjoyed the hot tub one evening, and made smores in the fire pit, and the kids climbed the mountain with the ropes available. :) The driveway is super steep, but our 10 year old minivan did just fine. You feel so isolated up there, but it's a 15-20 minute ride to anything! We did kayaking, tubing, the bigfoot musuem, and the lake, where we saw the total eclipse. We'll never forget our wonderful trip to Blue Ridge, thank you for sharing our home with us!

Clean and well kept

  • 5 of 5

This cabin had the perfect setup for my family. The kids were in a room with bunkbeds and everyone else had Queen beds. Everything was clean and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. Judy even put out a welcome sign with our name! We would love to stay again!

Great Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Our girls trip weekend was awesome! The Cabin was wonderful! Our only complaint was that we did not book it for more than the weekend. The ride up the hill was challenging but once up there we quickly realized it was sooooooo worth the challenge. Long story short...I would recommend this cabin every day of the week and twice on Sunday, lol!

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay.

  • 5 of 5

This cabin has a wonderful view of the mountains and it is very peaceful. We all enjoyed the week staying there. The only suggestion I would make is that due to the unpaved road and steepness of the driveway it would be advisable to have a SUV with 4 wheel drive. It rained a lot while we were there and we used the 4 wheel drive a lot. I'm glad we had it for sure.
