Hello my name is Molly and my husband's name is Shawn. We lived in Calgary for most of our lives. I am a 5th generation Calgarian and have over 1000 relatives in Calgary alone. Shawn moved to Calgary over 50 years ago. This Penthouse used to be our personal home and now is available for rent on either a short-term for long-term basis.
We love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit over 25 different countries. While travelling, we almost always book our vacation accommodation through VRBO. Like you, we prefer to stay in spacious one or two bedroom suites with kitchenettes versus a typical small hotel room, for the same price.
We have found that renting a home directly from an owner is definitely better value for the money. A good example is the difference between renting the penthouse at the Palliser Hotel and our Penthouse. The Palliser Hotel penthouse is half the size (1225 sq. ft), one bedroom and located on the 9th floor. The price is $3000/night versus our Penthouse at $600/night.
Our goal is to make sure that you have a WONDERFUL time and experience in both our home and city while you are visiting. We have done our best to incorporate many of the positive qualities and aspects we liked in other short-term rental properties into ours.

My wife and I stayed here with another friend while in town to teach and absolutely loved this place. Molly was easy to work with, making sure our stay was what we had hoped. As photographers the morning and evening light was fantastic. Central to everything while still feeling like a quite place to easily relax.
The penthouse suite is excellent and has everything a person could ask for when staying somewhere. The views are fantastic and the condo was very clean. The master bed is just a queen size which is tough to go back to when you are used to a king size mattress. The parking spot is very tight so rent or bring a large SUV. My only issue that I had was with people from the homeless shelter across the street from the entrance of the building. I had two separate verbal situations with two different people which left me and my family feeling very uncomfortable. I'm not sure I would let my 18 year old daughter leave the building by herself. At one instance there were 3 police cars there arresting one of the people. It just left an uneasy feeling for everyone in my family when people are approaching you saying things that aren't vacation related. Once inside the building we felt very safe. I know the owners of the condo can't do anything about this but I felt other people should know about it. Overall we thought the place was great and would stay there again.
With a party of five it is often differcult to get the perfect accomodation, we were lucky enough to be able to rent the best penthouse in the most perfect location in Victoria park Calgary. The booking was effortless and Molly was wonderful there was nothing that she could not provide or help with. The Penthouse was beautiful and so well stocked with everything you need to start your holiday. The Location was to die for opposite the gates of the Calgary Stampede with a food market at the base of the building. The apartment itself is very spacious and inviting the views from the balcony were great. My friends and I would all recommend this accomodation and we plan on returning as soon as we can.

I stayed in the Penthouse for 2 months from May to July and I would recommend this property to anyone. It is a beautiful place with great views and it is within walking distance to Downtown and 17th Ave.The place was very clean and well maintained. Molly and Shawn were great to deal with and very accommodating!!
Molly was very accommodating and the location couldn't be better for the Calgary Stampede. The space is very nice, incredible view. I would highly recommend this if you want the best location in Calgary for the Stampede - or any other Calgary vacation!
The property was as perfect as it is described in the advertisement. Everything you need for your stay is there, just pack your bags and bring some food and enjoy your time in Calgary.
The property was extremely clean and very well maintained.
Mrs Hamilton made sure that the booking process was easy. She is a very organized owner and did a fantastic job of ensuring our arrangements for our stay were looked after.
I look forward to staying in this property again in the future. My wife & I were born and raised in Calgary, and often spend time visiting friends and family. This may just become our new home away from home.

This spectacular Penthouse is a short 5 minute walk to the entrance of Stampede Park, home of the world renown "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth - The Calgary Stampede". It is also minutes from hundreds of cafe's, restaurants and downtown tourist attractions!
