In the Flower Streets of the Village of Corona del Mar. 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport, 45 minutes from Los Angeles, but a world unto itself.

The beautiful beaches of Big Corona and Little Corona are a short walk, as this property is located on the Ocean Side of Rte 1 (Pacific Coast Highway).

The village of Corona del Mar hosts great restaurants, shopping and is just minutes away from Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove and Newport Coast.

The property hosts an upper unit with a quiet married couple. There are no shared walls, and there are separate garages and entrances.

The front deck has a retractable set of folding doors that allow indoor/outdoor living between the living area and the deck. Wonderful for warm afternoons and evenings. Ocean breezes included. :-)

Paradise in Corona Del Mar

Our extended stay in this gem of a beach house was nothing short of wonderful! The front doors that fully open to create an indoor/outdoor space with the deck was one of our favorite places to hang out. There are many amazing restaurants a short walk away and we ran into/talked with a famous NBA star across the street in the Port restaurant one evening. John is a pleasure to work with and is the consummate host. Everything in the house was in great shape and very well stocked, The books and games that are provided were also a big hit with the family and the beach is a short walk away going over the scenic Goldenrod foot bridge. I highly recommend a stay here, it won't disappoint!

Jewel in the Crown

This little gem of a place in Corona del Mar comes as advertised. 2 minute walk to great shopping and restaurants, 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute stroll to a large nearby park -- yet with all the intimacy of a small neighborhood. Home is roomy for two people -- 4 at max. Large front porch is ideal for relaxing and watching the world walk by. Doors open wide from the porch to the interior to circulate fresh air and give the interior a more expansive feel. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Gas barbecue is great if you prefer to cook outdoors. Plenty of linens, drawer space, etc. Full entertainment system, including a wide selection of quality DVDs. And, if books are more to your liking, you'll find a wide number of interesting titles. Host is gracious, helpful and fully responsive to issues and/or questions if they arise. In short, easy to stay and easy to like. Fully satisfied with our visit and would definitely rent here again when we next return.

Delightful Beach Bungalow

We stayed in John's fun bungalow to celebrate my daughter's PhD. graduation from UC Irvine. House was great -- all amenities incl. fully equipped kitchen; BBQ; outdoor gas fireplace (we used it every night); beach buggy complete with chairs, umbrella and games. We walked to the beach; biked all over; hit the farmers market at PCH and Marquerite; slept 5 comfortably; ate out (endless choices) and ate in. Wish we'd found the house before. We'll come back to Corona del Mar. Thanks John.

But now I'm jealous of the great times you had :-) UCI is just "up the hill", and this is a great town for "car-free" living as you can walk to the beach, farmer's markets, and great shops and restaurants in the village. The home is a quick cab ride from John Wayne Airport, and the bikes are good for exploring the coast.

John (the owner) was very helpful and responsive. His place worked out perfectly for our family of 5 (3 adult aged kids). Easily walkable to the beach. Nicely appointed unit with all we needed. We really enjoyed the firepit on the front deck! We plan to come back.

The nightlife of Corona del Mar Village with its wonderful restaurants and boutiques is around the corner.

Newport Coast, Crystal Cove and Laguna Beach are close by. Huntington Beach, Balboa Island and the Peninsula are a fun bike ride away.

Fashion Island is a few minutes by car and features wonderful shopping, restaurants, as well as the new luxurious Island Cinema.

John Wayne Airport is 10-15 minutes away.
