It has a great feeling of Showa Era located near Shinjuku (6 mins ride) and Shibuya (just over 15 mins) or walk 45 minutes or more. The bathroom has a Japanese style tub and a shower; we provide soap, shampoo and conditioner of our local selection.
It is a pretty small studio, but if you use this flat just to sleep and get ready to go sightseeing rather than staying all day then it is very cost effective!
The whole place is yours although it is not big enough to get lost in this apartment!
Moreover, lots of cute little traditional tavern 'Izakaya' on the way from the station just stop in for a quick bite and a drink or stay and chat with the friendly owners and patrons.

In Japan, you NEVER enter a home with your outdoor shoes.
Please use the tiny entrance area to take your shoes off. This might be uncommon for you depending where you come from but you will get used to it. ;)
You chose a quiet neighborhood, so please respect the environment in a Japanese manner and don't create unnecessary loud noises.
10pm is the time to be quiet enough so your neighbors are able to get enough sleep for their jobs the next day.
Japanese go out and party in izakayas, pubs, karaoke places and even in parks while picnic or barbecue. Normally the home is the place to get private time and peace.
Anyway, you are in Tokyo and we promise you won't be bored!
You want to wash your laundry before you leave, an accident happened or you ran out of clean clothes? The laundromat just around the corner might save your day. Except on Thursday, when it's closed. A small load costs 200Yen and 10mins in the dryer are 100Yen. You can find laundry detergent in the apartment. Just dump a small amount on top of your clothes before you close the machine, then feed it with your coins. The display will show you how much time it will take.
- Hot water:
We provide hot water for 24h, the trick is to activate it through pushing the round button on the right side on a display outside the bathroom, close to the kitchen's sink. It will show you the temperature which you can adjust with the arrow keys. Please be careful and don't burn yourself.
You will find a small instruction manual on how to use the air conditioner in your apartment. Please turn it off every time you leave the house. It is powerful and warm up or cool down your place quickly when you come back and turn it back on.
Also make sure the gas oven is turned off properly after use.
Japan recycles nearly everything. Be a part of an economic friendly community and help us to separate the garbage. You will find an information sheet in your apartment how to separate trash. It will be glued on top of the garbage can lid. Different garbage is collected on different days and you can help and drop it off on the main street, close to the coin laundry. Usually you put it under the blue net and in special collection containers.
Then don't hesitate to ask! Our team are here to help you to get around and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Also, if you have any suggestions how we can improve, please let us know. So you also help your co-travellers to have an awesome experience!
Enjoy your stay!

We usually rent apartments when traveling and have done so in several countries. This apartment is among my favorite for its location, convenience, price and facilities.
The apartment is small but well appointed with beds, a small table for eating, a full bathroom and small kitchen. It's sunny and cheerful with a nice view overlooking the path. It was perfect for two people.
The train to Shinjuku is only a five minute walk away, as well as a grocery store within three minutes, a public bath on the corner, and lots of small restaurants and a 100 yen store (Daiso) 10 minutes away. Could not be more convenient.
The apartment managers are so kind and helpful. They are ready with advice and guidance whatever your needs.
If you want to experience a sweet, local neighborhood in Tokyo that's still just a short train ride from downtown, this is the apartment for you. I can't wait to come back with the rest of my family and stay again.

The quality of beds, kitchen, bathroom is average. Not more. The owner is inconsistant; doesn't respond always in a timely fashion. We have received two set of instruction to go to the apartment who were not necessarily giving similar information. When you get to the apartment at night for the first time, it's almost impossible to see the guidance spots.

A lovely quaint place close to Daitabashi St. and a size big enough for 2 people or maybe one to stay. Extra sleeping space above wardrobe available however, but too hot to use in Summer. Was very clean and tidy prior arrival and the host helped us with anything we needed during the stay. Would come back again!

It Was a good place to stay, and There is a lot of little restaurant just near, with a lot of Nice people, Thanks you and maybe we Will come back another time
Go to Daitabashi Station 2 stops from Shinjuku Station on Keio Line in the direction of Takaosanguchi or Hashimoto LOCAL train (not Rapid or Express). Take the North exit and you will come in a lovely area with lots of little traditional restaurants with friendly owners - do try one or them all!
With the railroad tracks at your back walk down one of the two small streets (they both lead to the same place) towards Koshu Kaido Street two short blocks. There is a pharmacy, convenience store, and a great supermarket Keio located on the corner when you reach Koshu Kaido Street.
Take the pedestrian crossway to the left over the street. When you come down the stairs take a left and walk 100 meters to the second street with a Sento "Yunoraku" (great public spa, do try!!!) on the corner and take a left, walk 15 meters on your right there is a gravel path with tiles in front of a beautifully overgrown house bustling with plants, turn right here and then there is a white small apartment building with a small gate at the end of the path to the right. If case we don't meet you the key will mailbox 201. The apartment is the upper corner unit, up the steps the first door on the right.
