This property is located west of Coast Hwy, and thus an easy 8 minute walk to the beach, or to the many different restaurants and shops in the area . Located in the quiet neighborhood of South Oceanside, you will be just over 1 mile away of both the Village of Carlsbad, and the and the busy Oceanside pier area. A private backyard off of both bedrooms has a private backyard with a sitting area, gas weber barbecue, dinning table, and is perfectly situated between the

Built by a local builder in 2010 for himself to live in, it has many upgrades such as 10 foot ceilings, custom solid wood doors, and a beautifully tiled bathroom. With 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, it has an open floor plan and is just under 1000 sqft. In your dedicated garage parking spot, you will have 4 beach bikes, 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, and even beach toys for the kids. I can even get a smaller bike for a child and a pack-in-play/booster seat, if you let me know in advance.

The unit is not appointed with give aways from family members, but has newly purchased items such as upscale queen mattresses, a new very comfortable Crate and Barrel couch, and new TVs in all rooms including a 55" LCD TV in the main room including DVR recording capability including premium chanels. High speed wireless WIFI is also provided.

Located under 1 mile from two main highways (Hwy 5 and Hwy 78) , it is easy to visit family and friends anywhere in the area.

Legoland Amusement Park (10 miles), shopping malls (5 miles), biking, sport fishing, and golfing. Sea World (40 miles), the San Diego Zoo (45 miles), the San Diego Wild Animal Park (35 miles), and numerous other San Diego spots are a short drive or train ride away. Disneyland (60 miles) and Knott's Berry Farm (66 miles) are popular destinations to the north.

Just 1 mile from Highways 5 and 78, it is easy to go anywhere. The beach and eating places are just a few blocks away, Legoland is 10 minutes away, while Seaworld, Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, and the Wild Animal park are all about 45 min from the unit. Bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrella are all located in the garage. One spot is also provided for your car.

Best birthday trip! Great hideaway spot for the family. A little piece of home.

This place was amazing! There was so much to love about this place. It has a spacious garage with everything you need in it. Bikes, helmets, bike locks, chairs, umbrella. My family enjoyed biking all over Oceanside, even found some new places we never would have found without bikes. The inside was perfect, two great bedrooms, and a comfortable main family area with everything you might need. It has a large patio off the two bedrooms which we enjoyed. Even our dog loved the place. The neighborhood is very quiet, a great place to recharge after a busy day exploring the place on bikes. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic Property !!!

My husband an I just got back from spending a week in this property. I cannot say enough about how great it was.

Well located - very close to the beach. The property was spotless. It was furnished with top notch furniture, bedding ,linens, plenty of towels (bath , beach, and kitchen). There were plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware (again very nice).

The bikes provided were a lot of fun. Being able to park in a garage is a definite plus.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this property. We will probably be back. - Mary Ann

Very nice

It was a great area & the rental unit was great. I gave only 4 stars cuz there was mold on the freezer gasket. Also cobwebs on the ceiling fans. Very comfortable.

Nicely maintained beach property

If you're looking for a very nicely maintained place to stay in a fun neighborhood close to the beach, this is it! Although the unit is small, the space is very well utilized. The two of us were there for a week and we never felt crowded.

The unit was clean upon our arrival and everything was neat and orderly. Warren's instructions make check in a breeze and he provides everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Additionally, Warren checks to make sure everything is going fine and is very responsive to any concerns or questions, without being intrusive.

It's a great, funky little neighborhood; some good restaurants, a small market as well as the beach are all within easy walking distance . And if you have dogs it's a great place to stay as there is a fully enclosed yard area.

Highly recommend this great little property!

Owner's Response: Glad you pointed out Primo Market which is just 3 blocks. For a small market they seem to always have what you are looking for, plus their meat department is surprisingly good! A really great pizza place also just opened a block away called "Best Pizza & Brew" which has a great atmosphere to eat there or you can take out. Best of all, they serve by the slice if you want!

Great beach rental!

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for the last week of August for a great beach vacation. The unit is the first floor of a two story house and is just a few blocks away from the beach. It has everything you need, including beach chairs, boogie boards, and bikes. It is also a short walk to the restaurants and shops in South Oceanside. It is also convenient to other attractions: Disney (about an hour's drive), the San Diego Safari Park (40 minutes), and San Diego. The unit is clean and modern, with tasteful furnishings, and even a cute outdoor patio area. Another plus: it is one of the few rentals that I looked at that has AC (much needed during the "heat wave" during our visit). I would highly recommend it!

Cancellation Policy:
* Before 30 days of arrival date: Full refund minus $35 fee.
* Within 30 days of arrival date: No refund of the rent paid, but will send back cleaning fee and tax paid.

If you do cancel within 30 days of arrival I do try to rent out the period cancelled and will send you back any funds received up to the amount you paid. No promises, but try to let me know ASAP so I can try to re-rent.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
