Southern Colorado Beauty

  • 4 of 5

Lovely cabin up in the mountains in South Fork. There are numerous things to see within 30min to 1 hour drive, such as waterfalls, old mines, hot springs, and beautiful mountainous scenery all around. We had a great time and even had time to relax at the cabin!

Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the cabin, it was in a great location had amazing views and is very easy to find, also it was very clean and very well kept. Karen was very responsive when we had questions and very friendly! Everything we needed to know about the cabin was made available on the home away app. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in or near the South Fork area. We visited all the surround towns and had a great time, we will definitely keep Karen's cabin in mind for our next trip back this way!

Comfortable and quiet cabin with pretty views

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the Markum cabin! It had many amenities (the washer and dryer is a nice bonus), and it was a comfortable and quiet place to stay. The front porch was my favorite spot, where I watched sunrises, sunsets and lots of birds. The night sky is STUNNING -- it's a star-gazers delight!

We have stayed in many rental cabins for vacations and I must say, this was my favorite! It was supplied with everything needed for a great family vacation! Loved watching our resident rabbits, chipmunks and hummingbirds! Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!

Southfork base camp cabin

  • 5 of 5

This place is great! Such a great location for so many things. Only a few miles from Wolf creek pass, Creede and lake city are just a short drive as well. The cabin is VERY well stocked, had everything we needed and much more! Very comfy cabin with great heat for those cold nights. The beds were awesome! We sleep on a tempurpedic at home and usually have a hard time sleeping away from home, but these beds were great.

Owner's Response: We agree! That's what makes coming to Colorado such a treat! We are so close to the amenities of the town but really feels a world away! The grocery store is (the Rainbow) only 21/2 miles away and golfing which is rated one of the top ten courses in the country is slightly closer! Thrilled you got to experience Colorado and the beauty of the mountains! Access to the river is even closer since you cross the river on the way to the cabin! Thanks so much for visiting! We hope to see you again next year!
