Close to Atlanta and Pinewood studios, yet private and relatively secluded for being so near all the big city activities.
the home was contemporary and lovely. perfect for our week stay. the owner, was wonderful to work with. everything ya need to feel like you are @ home. the gas fireplace was a huge bonus. we only used it for a short period before bed and for a short period during breakfast time. quality furnishing abound. the propane grill was nice, as was the Keurig coffee maker. the home could accommodate a larger group. we had only two adults as we were coming to visit our grand kiddos. never heard the neighbors next door. only saw their car pull in their garage a couple of times. their trip overlapped ours. walking golf path was easy to get to. we enjoyed going to the elementary via the path to play on their playground. super convenient to great shopping center,Kroger,Starbucks,restaurants, gas etc. we did have an Internet issue that lasted a day.but that could happen anywhere. owner Steve was quick to check into it and quick to respond back.
we did not let owner know , because we had already had the Internet issue,but the master bedroom t.v. was not working properly , as far as the service received from downstairs t.v.. could not get all the channels.having that corrected for guests would be nice. but ok for this trip.
lastly, as mentioned in a previous review, outside noise at times was a distraction. there are train tracks nearby and the train whistles are heard several times night and day. also a pretty busy business road not too far from the backyard. many large trucks and cars on Senoia road during the day and at night there are bright security lights shining for the business behind. again this was not a terrible thing; just a bit noisy @ time. would be happy to stay here again.
The home away from home was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. Restuarants, groceries, and other services were close by and easily accessible. The Over 90 miles of Peachtree City trails were absolutely fabulous for our morning walks.
We traveled to Peachtree City from Dubai in order to purchase a home for relocation. We luckily found Steve and Sally's property on VRBO. We couldn't have made a better choice for our 5 night stay! For a family of 6, including grandparents, parents and two children, it was perfect for all of us. The home is very welcoming, with very comfortable and attractive furnishings. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there and loved gathering around the gas fireplace in the cool mornings and evenings. Steve had supplied the home with necessities in the kitchen, including coffee, and the bathrooms were perfect with fluffy, thick towels. Steve was always available if we had any questions. Very comfortable beds and pillows were welcome for a good night's sleep after busy days of house hunting. We would rate our experience here a 5++ and were reluctant to leave on our last day. Many thanks to Steve and Sally for making our stay here most enjoyable and part of our happy memories of Peachtree City.
My wife and I stayed at this beautiful duplex home for a couple nights before a conference we were attending. Out of our three stops in different places throughout our week there, this one was easily our favorite. There was obviously much thoughtfulness in the design of the home, and in the details of what was needed for guests. The kitchen was well-equipped; it even had a crock-pot (which we would have used if we knew it was there)! The master bedroom and bath were huge and very comfortable. It was just the two of us, but we could have easily fit our kids or another family there also, in the other two bedrooms. The ground floor living room and dining room was quite spacious as well, with 8 chairs available for the dining table, as well as 3 or 4 stools at the counter. I enjoyed sitting outside in the backyard too and wished my boys were there to explore among all the trees. It was nice to be able to park our rental car in the garage.
There was some road noise, but part of it might have been because an adjacent road was closed while we were there and traffic was being rerouted past the house. There is a train crossing nearby also, but trains were very infrequent and the noise from that wasn't a problem for us.
Communications with Steve were simple and straightforward. I had not received an email he had sent, so when I called to check on that, he was very friendly and quick to respond, giving me the info I needed over the phone, as well as re-sending the email.
I highly recommend this vacation rental! If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely be looking this up again.
New, clean & great floor plan. Location suited us well - close enough to get to airport/city. Had family wedding in City and family close to Newnan, so was in perfect location. Steve was available and made sure we were all good. We left some items and he graciously arranged to get them back to us. Internet was slow but condo had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and stay here again.
Great location for our long weekend with my 91 year old Mom and two sisters. Roomy, comfortable, safe and clean. The beds were excellent. Great floor plan with attractive decor. Large well appointed kitchen/dining area. Owner was a good communicator before and during our stay and responsive to our requests.
