Stay Alfred was founded based on the idea of offering innovative, reliable, and consistent short-term vacation rentals at a price that's affordable, while making booking, checking-in, and checking-out quick, easy, and stress-free. Booking the perfect stay shouldn't feel like taking a shot in the dark. At Stay Alfred, we know that guests prefer accommodations that are straight-forward and stress-free.
The location of the condo was terrific; we walked to the Liberty Bell/Constitution Hall (13 blocks down Chestnut St) as well as Rittenhouse Square (3 blocks). There are many restaurants and shops in the immediate area including a Target, CVS & Liquor Store. Check-in and out were fast & easy and the concierge staff was quite friendly. The condo itself was very nicely equipped. It had all the necessary items one would expect in a vacation rental as well as items not normally provided such as soap, shampoo/conditioner, & lotion in both bathrooms. The beds & bedding were comfortable but the pillows were not (personal preference). Towels were soft & fluffy! I agree with a previous reviewers regarding the loud A/C due to the exposed ductwork. It didn't keep us awake but it was quite loud. We loved the roof deck of the AQ Rittenhouse. In fact, we enjoyed a take away meal one evening from El Rey (fantastic!!) which is located next door to the building. Parking was not included but was a non-issue as there were several garages and outdoor lots within a block or two. I'd highly recommend Stay Alfred for your Philly vacation needs! We'll certainly investigate booking with them for future vacations in other cities where they have properties!
It was a wonderful place that supported all the things we wanted to do throughout the city.
This place is pretty ideal. Great location. Very clean, comfortable apartment. Easy to get to. Convenient to restaurants, food shops, and UPenn and Drexel. Parking lot just a block away on Sansom. Loved it.
The accommodations are perfectly located in a vibrant part of time. Our unit was a two bedroom, well appointed, comfortable, clean apartment. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to to city of Philadelphia and would book it again in a heartbeat.
There were 2 couples who stayed here and it was very nice, we loved the apartment, the kitchen living room was very nice and felt like home. The bedrooms were small, but I was happy there were queen beds in there. I also loved that there were 2 bathrooms, one for each couple. The only complaint is the rooms were a lot hotter than the living room, and because the AC vents are exposed it was very loud, so if you are a light sleeper, it may not be the best for you.
