There were 2 couples who stayed here and it was very nice, we loved the apartment, the kitchen living room was very nice and felt like home. The bedrooms were small, but I was happy there were queen beds in there. I also loved that there were 2 bathrooms, one for each couple. The only complaint is the rooms were a lot hotter than the living room, and because the AC vents are exposed it was very loud, so if you are a light sleeper, it may not be the best for you.
Very good condo. Wonderful location, cozy appartment, reasonable price. The best place Ive ever stay. I definitely will Stay Alfred next time I travel.
This was a great rental in a great location. The unit was cleaned pretty well except for the carpets which looked like they had not been vacuumed from the previous guest as there were tags from clothing on the floor. However, the unit comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay so this was an easy fix being that there was a vacuum in the unit. Parking a little less than ideal but tolerable. Overall would definitely return when in the Philly area.
My husband and I went to Philly and stayed with our 2 small children. We stayed for a long weekend at the unit and really enjoyed it. The condo itself is very nice. It was clean and very quiet. It's a corner unit and we didn't hear anything from the neighbors. The beds are comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and adequate kitchen supplies. There was coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, etc... Not a ton of stuff, but the basics. The view from the living room was pretty great. We looked out the window a lot and enjoyed the various rooftops (we are on the 9th floor).
The neighborhood is great for visitors. There are tons of bars and restuarants right outside the front door. There is a little grocery store on the next block. There is a CVS and Target 2 blocks down. So really if you forget something you have everything within walking distance. Also it's about half a mile from the city center.
The only negative about the property is parking. We arrived Friday evening so there was no parking at all on the block, so we couldn't even unload our bags and things. It's just a really busy neighborhood, so don't plan to drive a lot.
The property was not cleaned very well. From vacuuming, to counter tops, to mildew on the shower curtains. It was pretty bad. Had the place been cleaned, it was acceptable, but a bit over priced and few luxury references.
