There are a lot of convenient stores within a 4 block radius for food items. Not very many great dining venues close by. The apartment was clean except for the greasy cookie sheet left by the previous renter. The beds were comfortable. It would have been helpful to have directions for the different tvs. Over all a good experience.
Great location: skyline of Philly in this top floor apartment was beautiful, close to EVERYTHING. seamless experience, will look for Stay Alfred in the future: the reservation process was easy, communication with Stay Alfred and instructions were clear and professional, there were no hiccups in travel whatsoever. The (unaffiliated) desk staff were superb, and the apartment was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful - definitely a place I was proud to invite colleagues into during our conference. A+++++
The location of this rental is very good. Very central. It was spacious and suited our needs very well. Kitchen and showers were clean. The instructions were good and the Alfred staff was responsive.
We traveled with friends to visit their son and his girlfriend for a long 5 day weekend and loved the city! We found this condo that was just blocks from Reading Terminal Market and right in the middle of everything we wanted to see, eat and experience. We had a fabulous time and will definitely book here again when we return to finish seeing the things we didn't have time for on this trip. (One recommendation....the bathrooms didn't have enough T.P. and there was no dishwasher soap; thankfully, the 7 Eleven was right next door.)
I would recommend this property. We had two couples meet for a five day vacation. The layout of the apartment was perfect. Couples had private bathrooms and the entrances to the bedrooms allowed additional privacy. The location is excellent to the market and public transportation. The parking and cleaning fees are quite reasonable. The clothes dryer did not dry well, so if you wash allow hours for drying. Even though the concierge is not associated with Stay Alfred, they were very helpful. I called Stay Alfred for an early check in and it was granted, no problem. All in all, a very nice Stay and a good experience. Would definitely do this again.
Great location. Stores , train station, restaurants , and historical sites all in walking distance . Adequate accommodations but parking to unload car was a nightmare. Walked into an 89 degree apartment on arrival which was not fixed until following day , made for uncomfortable night. Living room rug made one question how it was being cleaned , unsanitary . Paper products sparse , bring your own kleenex and dish washing soap . Time for a tune-up and some decorating with a female touch needed.
