REVIEWS

Sara Haynes (child)

I think this is a wonderful place, it is very roomy and its just what a family of 6 needs. The water is wonderful. I love to play inside the house its so much fun. The dishwasher is great, very nice kitchen, wonderful beds! Lovely veranda Its great to have a BBQ on, we loved it so much we booked for next year. Thanks so, so, so, much for letting us stay here.

The Ybnetaqs Family

This is the best holiday we have ever had. The kids fought over the Easter eggs, and one said that dad was the slowest speedboat driver ever and the new towing ski buisket was ever so gay! But apart from that the fish were great and the house was good too.

The Davis Clan

What a wonderful place you have, great views, very peaceful. Thank you for the use of the canoes and water equipment, the kids thought it was fantastic to paddle across the lake. Love your kitchen and dishwasher, it had plenty go through it. No negatives from us, just praise. Thanks again!

The Kuchtas and Buchanens Families

Alex, (8) - I enjoyed the balconys and the beds and the views were great over the lake. We went prawning and we caught a flounder and a squid.

By Natham, (14) - I thought it was a really good idea to have the canoes and other toys for us. The balcony was brilliant and the sunsets beautiful and the house was the best.

By Mum - What a perfect holiday house! plenty of room for two families, wonderful deck, wonderful spot. We swam, waterskiied, tubed, fished, canoed, walked, ate, drank and danced. Just Great! Will leave here with wonderful memories.

By Dad - The house is perfectly appointed, both to compliment our water sports and to enjoy the lovely surrounds of the lake. We had a great stay and will remember it for a long time to come.

The Beale Family

What a beautiful holiday home you have. The balcony, the views and facilities were fantastic. We had a very enjoyable weekend only too short. We will definitely be back very soon.

The Dyetts and Hiskens Families

Twas Sat. 12th we arrived at the house,

lots of creatures surround us but definitely no mouse,

the house at the ready all of us to share,

with boards, canoes and jackets, all hanging with care,

the men fished fairly seriously, the result wasnt great,

but we laughed and we talked and drank wine until late,

When darkness fell on the veranda we heard such a clatter,

We all sprang to our feet to see whats the matter,

Those possums the buggers are back for a feed,

They ate porridge, bananas Im sure more than the need,

So to those who think the TV's positions a pain,

Should bring trivia, Pictionary and cards to exercise the brain,

For its not what is missing you need to be seeking,

Its the fun you can have with the company youre keeping.

Thanks for a wonderful week in this great family house! We are so sad to be leaving today after such an enjoyable stay! Smiths Lake is a great spot for kids and we will be back in the near future! Thanks also for the use of the canoe and other equipment in the shed.

The Pedley family (Brett, Cathy, Holly and Ben)

We had a fab stay! This house is wonderful. Position perfect for having a ski boat which we brought. Fantastic so close to the boat ramp, spectacular views and balcony. Loved the amount of space, beds were really comfortable. Loved the kitchen, heaps all you need for a great holiday. I loved that there was no TV upstairs and that you can shut the door to the TV room downstairs. Frothy Coffee people really nice and the Real Estate Agents were great, really friendly and helpful. Loved the canoes! thanks for use of that. Loved the balcony, ate there most times. Best not to feed the Kookaburras we were told by locals they are a bit of a pest but nice to look at. Loved the house and all in it. We had an amazing time, Highly recommend it.

More from the Pedley Family

Great location, clothes racks and clothes hangers were great, nice bedrooms, good furniture. Loved the view and wildlife that came to visit! We had a wonderful time here!

Lottie

I really enjoyed the time up here and I am glad my mum booked this place for next year. I am hoping we have just as much fun next year. I like fishing.

The Elliot Family

What a lovely place you have. We had a fab stay. The beach was so handy, right across the road, the space was fantastic. We had a great time, would love to come back next year.

The Pearces and Mclean Families

Great place, lots of room, beautiful views. Frothy Coffee great, nice food, burgers great. Thank you for a wonderful stay, this is our second time here and we will be back.

Jack M

This is a great house, me and my cousin had a great time fishing not to mention my aunty, overall the house is great and the kitchen seemed top of the range. The house has a great lakeside view and the canoes and surfboards were great fun. The house felt a lot roomier then it looked compared to the boat house where we stayed previously and I liked the beds. Looking forwards to coming back next year, same time.

The Roe family

Leisa - All good. Great to have the relatives here not enough room in our house.

Grandma - Very pleasant, spacious and quite at this time.

Papa - Great location and facilities, enjoyed the stay.

Dad - Always a beautiful place, fishing, walking and riding bikes. Birds are a pain when food is out.

Mum - Fantastic location, very peaceful, thanks for the lovely accommodation, a great holiday.

Oliver - This house will always be a good house, you have a great view and a coffee shop across the road, thanks.

Taylor and Moore Families

Great location and facilities, great house for the area and very comfortable, a fantastic holiday. Thank you.

The Van Lilirdum Family

Had a lovely beautiful break! The house is excellent in comfort and utilities and all the mod cons. Very clean and personally presented. Thank you, like home. Loved the big veranda and BBQ, used most of the time, will come again. A warm welcoming home for some much needed R and R. Thank you for sharing it with us. I loved the big covered veranda and BBQ, spent most days and nights out there. We will definitely be back.

The Bell Family

We enjoyed our stay here, the canoe came in handy so did the surfboard. We liked it when the Kookaburras and Magpies came around. They liked being feed at breakfast, lunch and tea.

The Hyde Family

Beautiful and peaceful spot, homely, warm and nicely appointed house. Loved the upstairs heated bathroom, the beautiful deck and made good use of the canoe. Thank you very much, you must be proud owners.

The Muso Family

Excellent holiday, dreamy views! We brought the ski boat, meat and beers, you supplied the location, decking, BBQ, furry friends and water facilities, what a team!
