The Neighborhood

Mountain View is a suburban neighborhood with a booming tech market. Besides Google, Mountain View is home to LinkedIn, Intuit, Symantec, Microsoft and many other high tech companies companies. These companies are attracting a younger crowd that’s starting to live in Mountain View amongst the already established families. The downtown area is 1 mile away, and Steven Creek Trail is a few blocks away.

Getting Around

There are several bus stops near the townhouse. Facebook shuttle station is 2 blocks away. If you have a car, this apartment is close to several highways (101, 237, and 85) allowing you access to the greater Mountain View area as well as downtown San Francisco. The Mountain View Caltrain stop is only 1 mile away. San Francisco is less than 40 miles north, and is accessible via car or by Caltrain.

Basic property needs some attention

This property is in a good location and is recently remodeled, but it is lacking in some key areas:

- Cleaning service was not thorough, leaving stained sheets on the bed and dirty floors throughout the property

- It is not regularly maintained, leaving issues like clogged drains and burnt-out lightbulbs

- Furnishings are basic and insufficient: couch/futon is uncomfortable, mattresses are thin and squeaky, and kitchen is not well-stocked (only 4 place settings even though the house sleeps 7)
