TRANQUILITY VILLA - is a wonderland built over four levels creating multiple panoramic views. With its adjacent pool, it is located on the side of hill directly above the beautifully secluded and easy to reach Moonhole Beach. It is nestled amongst tropical flora in a nature preserve on the Moonhole Peninsula.
This Caribbean masterpiece combines privacy and romance. It is breathtaking with views of about twenty Grenadine islands.
It has been designated “a favorite tropical home” of “Coastal Living” magazine and featured in “House Beautiful".
Tranquility was built from natural local materials in harmony with the environment. With large open arches, this villa has no straight lines, rather gentle curves blending with the natural surroundings.
Its location, and multi level open plan design with large windows, combine with the trade winds to provide ideal year round living conditions.
Tranquility provides a low impact, eco friendly vacation experience. Power is from solar, which provides 110v electricity throughout the villa. Water is solar heated in all showers and the kitchen.
The villa includes four en-suite bedrooms, spacious lounge, dining room, library/music room, kitchen, pool and large terra cotta tiled decks on all levels. Tranquility comfortably accommodates four couples.
The top floor is exclusively for the master bedroom with a huge deck. It is very private from the main house and is accessed by its own stairway with a gate.
The third level has the dining room, comfortable lounge, library/music room, large wrap around deck complete with outdoor seating and a fully equipped kitchen managed by your personal cook. This level leads directly to the pool.
The second level features the “Sunflower” and “Papaya” bedrooms. The deck of this level enjoys the same stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and Grenadine islands.
The first level is exclusively for the Turquoise bedroom -. This room has its own private deck also overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
The pool is easily accessed from all rooms. The surrounding patio is comfortably furnished with lounge chairs and built in L shaped settee. Ideal for a sundowner!!
Tranquility Villa is like a perfect orchestrated symphony....... nature, architecture, ambience and the beautiful sprit of Doro all make Tranquility unforgettable.
Thank you! My family and I have been fortunate enough to travel a great part of the world and Tranquility has won a very special place in our hearts.

Had a really lovely 2 weeks here. Lusan is really helpful and great at local knowledge.. anything you need to know she will know! Doro and wendyah are the 2 ladies that looked after us and they were superb! Food was great and they were very accommodating and understanding of our disabled family member too. Cannot wait to stay here again, the island is unspoilt and gorgeous.. totally recommend the bequia music festival and the locals are the friendliest people you will ever meet!!
My husband and I rented Traquility Villa to celebrate my father in law's 70th birthday!
This was the PERFECT place for it! Bequia itself is beautiful, but this home made our trip. We loved the open, spacious floorplan, as well as the breathtaking views.
The living room is a perfect place to relax together and play games or read a book.
Doro is AMAZING! She is so sweet and helpful! Not to mention a great cook. :)
Lusan and John were very warm and welcoming as well. Lusan helped us arrange a sailboat day trip and turned us on to passion fruit and rum! (I would recommend to everyone!)
Lusan even stopped by to wish my father in law "Happy Birthday"!
The pictures do not do this home justice. It is beautiful, with a view that can't be beat.
We enjoyed snorkeling off of Moonhole Beach, which in our opinion was the best snorkeling we did there.
I would recommend Tranquility Villa to anyone and everyone. It is a perfect place to get away from it all as well as to be spoiled by a great cook!
My husband, our 21 yr old son and myself just returned from 7 heavenly days at Tranquility Villa. The house is very spacious and very open, with 4 bedrooms on 4 floors, but we only used 2 of the bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bath - so nice not to have to share! There are lots of spots to laze around with a good book (the house has an extensive collection of books to borrow during your stay) or just doing nothing but relaxing! We really enjoyed the hammocks and the pool. The house is very private -located up on a hill overlooking a number of uninhabited Grenadine islands - the views from this home at absolutely breathtaking! The house is reached by a long stone & concrete path + lots of steps. If you are unable to walk on uneven paths, or have trouble with steps, this house is not for you. I would not recommend for younger children either. We had no problem with either (we loved the privacy), however, a porter (thank you Henry!) will bring our bags up and then take them back down upon your departure. One of the very best features of this house is the wonderful cook Dorothy! All of her meals were so delicious and she is so pleasant, sweet and helpful. We told her that we wanted to eat what folks in Bequia eat and she took it from there. She did the shopping for us as well (a huge plus for me!). All we had to do was pay the grocery bill at the end of our stay. I really tried to convince Dorothy to come back to the States with us! We simply had a wonderful stay.

Regarding your personal cook/housekeeper, we find that the best arrangement is to either accompany her to the town the day after arrival where she can help acquire provisions to meet your tastes. Alternatively you can let her know in advance your likes and dislikes and she can do the shopping, which will be charged to your account at cost and will be at the house for your arrival. She can often get better prices especially for sea food and vegetables. On the night of your arrival she prepares and serves dinner (those provisions also being charged to you at cost). Your personal cook/housekeeper works seven days a week and will prepare and serve all meals. Her hours are set by you and can be changed at anytime to give you maximum privacy.
For your budgeting purposes, Bequia food costs are generally about 15% to 20% more than in the USA. Add about 20% to you weekly food bill at home and this would give you a good idea of a weekly food bill here. This is because much is imported. An exception is sea food which is caught locally. Nothing like fresh lobster or fish straight from the sea to your plate never precooked or frozen.
