Was very very private. We stayed in the Wyatt cabin it was very clean and beautiful sunsets

We appreciated how private and peaceful this location was. The cabin was very clean and had many Lil personal touches that made you feel welcome. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub relaxing under a beautiful star filled sky. The cell phone reception is intermittent and can be frustrating and it is uncertain if that was due to our carrier or our location. We will be returning again it is a great place to enjoy a romantic getaway.

Beautiful, Peaceful Property - make sure to have details before leaving home.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was very peaceful, clean, and homey. Close to Giant City State Park and about an hour away from Garden of the Gods. There are wineries within 10 minutes (Starview and Blue Sky offer beautiful areas to sit outside). The only trouble we had with this cabin is not being contacted prior to our arrival. We were not given the address or key entry information for the home. We tried contacting the owner several times but he did not have a voicemail box set up. We finally received a call around 5p from the owner who was very polite and apologized for the oversight.

If you are planning on using a GPS to navigate the area you may want to make sure to have written/printed directions before leaving home. There are many places in the area where we did not receive cell service and we were glad to have our directions printed!

Beautiful place and total serenity.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and secluded. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The cabin was magnificent and peaceful. Several wineries to choose from and awesome spots in Shawnee National Forest to visit. My wife and I had a tremendous time and we will be back. We have recommended it to friends and family.

Spring break

  • 4 of 5

The property and views were very nice.

I was just a little disappointed that our hosts didn't come to introduce themselves until the 4th day we were there. We voiced some concerns of things we would have liked fixed and they didn't fix them.

The cabin as a whole was very nice and was located in a spot that was close to a lot of places to explore.

We had a great time. Thanks!
