Modern apartment in Saint Jean de Sixt for summer and winter holidays

Comfortable apartment in the picturesque village of Saint Jean de Sixt. It sleeps 4. The living is has a dining table for 6 persons, a sofa, television, radio / CD player and feels very cosy. The kitchen is well equiped with fridge, dishwasher, ceramic hob and oven. It invites you to prepare delicious French meals that can be served on beautiful china-ware (Wedgwood) accompanied by a nice glass of wine.

The two bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The main bedroom has twin beds and the other bedroom has bunk beds. All the beds have duvets. The bathroom is fully equipped with showen over bath. A washing/dryer is available. There is a seperate toilet.

The spacious hall has a coat-rack where you can hang your wet ski outfits.

Free wifi throughout the apartment

From the balcony you enjoy the spectacular view over the mountains.

We spent two weeks in the summer of 2010 in st jean the sixt with our two kids (13 and 10 years old).

we have been traveling for couple of years with our kids and have stayed in good places but this summer was the best!

The apartment is amazing, fully occupied and very modern. Near the apartment (two minutes walk) there is an awesome bakery and nice grocery store.

The village is small and sweet and is very close to La Clusaz which has a lot to offer (restaurants,ice skating and more).

The alps has a lot to offer in the summer and we enjoyed every moment.

The owner is very nice and willing to help all the time.

We will be back for sure - you should too.

Stayed here again during the winter. Although the slopes could have done with more snow this year, it didnt bother us as the apartment is so comfortable and cosy. Everything in it is top quality-it is exceptionally clean, and the best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in.We would recommend this apartment 100 % to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday in a beautiful area. It's position is ideal for all amenities in the village. The owners are really helpful and friendly.The apartment would be great for a summer booking too, as there is a lovely view from the balcony. Enjoy!

We stayed at the apartment in February half term 2011.The apartment is fantastic - we could not find fault with anything. It is on the top floor which we prefer and it is serviced by a lift. The views are spectacular and we found it to be extremely quiet. The kitchen is very modern and has every utensil imaginable! There was even a supply of dishwasher and washing machine tablets. The beds are so comfortable with plump pillows and duvets. The bathroom is modern with plenty of storage space and a very adequate shower. All in all the attention to detail is perfect, right down to the candles, which we lit at dinner. Saint Jean de Sixt is a lovely village with all amenities. It is a 5-10 minute drive to La Clusaz where we skied. I would thoroughly recommend the apartment.

Great holiday base.

We agree with all the positive comments of the previous reviewer, with a few more besidesThe apartment is light and feels spacious with lots of room for hanging outdoor gear. It is extremely well equipped and managed.The lift makes it really accessible, and its position is ideal for a base for exploring the area.

We had a wonderful time there last ski season and can't wait to go back.

Super apartment in the French Alps

Ideal location for skiing in the winter and walking in the summer. Super clean, modern and very well equipped even with washing machine, dryer and Senseo coffee machine!

First one up collected the bread from the baker, lieterally minute walk away - gorgeous fresh bread and croissants for breakfast. In fact the little village of St Jean de Sixt has everything you need; supermarket, chemist, sport shops and a particularly good restaurant. A bigger supermarket is just 20 minutes drive away.

The ski bus is about 5 minutes walk from the apartment and runs every half an hour to the skiing resorts of La Clusaz or Le Grand Bornand.

We had a fantastic holiday with brilliant skiing. Thanks!

Saint Jean de Sixt is a small typical Alp village at an elevation of 956 meters. In winter time it is always accessible by car sometimes with the use of snow chains. It is situated between the ski resorts of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz, both 3 km. from Saint Jean de Sixt. A free ski buss will take you there. In Saint Jean de Sixt you will find 2 nursery slopes. The village has everything for your daily needs; a small supermarket, bakery, green grocer, restaurant, pub, pizza take away, news agency and more.

In summer time you can enjoy swimming in the beautiful lake of Annecy, paragliding, mountain biking, 9 holes golf course in Le Grand Bornand, tennis in Saint Jean.

Cleaning at the end of your stay is included in the rent, so you only need to leave the apartment tidy. Bed linens, bath- and kitchen towels are also included in the rent.
Deposit of 25% in EUR is required on booking and can be paid by bank transfer.
Discounts are available for multiple-week bookings accept in the High winter season. Please enquire for details.

Due to cancellation I'll give 20% reduction of the rent in August 2016
