Just waiting for you to enjoy all that Steamboat and this Cozy Mountain Retreat has to offer.
Year round Steamboat resident since 2008.
I came to Steamboat for its small town charm and world class Champagne Powder. The skiing both alpine and cross-country can't be beat. I wouldn't live anywhere else.
I can be found skiing on the mountain, love tree skiing. Ask me about the ski group that meets everyday here at the resort. I also enjoy mountain biking up Spring Creek in the summer. Love to hike all the beautiful mountain trails and always make time for a float down the Yampa River with my kids each summer. Enjoying life in the Boat.
Joy purchased this condo in 2014
Only three bus stops to the ski mountain. The free bus stop is right out the front door. We offer more space than a hotel with a full kitchen and laundry room to boot.
This mountain retreat is wonderfully located next to grocery stores, coffee shops, and two places to rent your skis or snowboard. Close to downtown, no need to drive your car for happy hour, just hop on the bus.
I have enjoyed decorating and making my condo a place where my guests can feel at home. I hope they can get a taste of why I love Steamboat. This town has so much to offer, from skiing , to hiking, Hot Springs, Strings in the Mountain, fly fishing, mountain-biking and hanging out with friends and family while enjoying the superb surroundings.
Location, Location, Location!!! It's so convenient to everything in town.
Close to everything, including free us to ski area and town. Walking distance to grocery and restaurants.
Fireplace and wood, fan in bedroom. Nice heater for really cold days, only needed it a few evenings.
Full kitchen . Loved washer and dryer.
Joy's condo was just right for our long weekend--there was room in the bedroom for a pack and play in the corner, the bed and linens were comfortable, and the living room was a good size. We also made use of the washer/dryer which was so convenient! She offered to let us use her bikes during our trip and left them on the patio, which was a kind gesture. She also advised us to visit the local/downtown hot springs (rather than Strawberry Park hot springs) as we had our 2-yr-old with us, and we had a great time! Convenient to downtown, and with free parking everywhere it was an easy trip down the main road (Lincoln) to the local restaurants and shops. Would stay again for sure!
We really love this property from the sleep number bed, the appointed kitchen & open living area - love that comfy sofa! The fireplace would be welcome in the winter! Will definitely stay here again. Great price too.
This little condo is the perfect spot for a great stay at Steamboat! It has everything you need (full kitchen, well furnished living area w/ wifi, washer/dryer, nice sized comfy bedroom and a full bathroom) plus access to hot tubs on the premises. It sits right on the free Steamboat bus line so you never need to use your car to get to downtown Steamboat OR to the ski resorts. You can walk to the grocery store and to a kinda cool sports/ski store as well as a liquor store. We stayed here over the summer and had two adults and two children in the condo. The adults took the bedroom and the kids slept on the very large sofa. We were all comfortable and there was plenty of room. We made this place home while we were in Steamboat and Joy, the owner of the unit, made sure we were comfortable and that our needs were met. I couldn't' have been happier with our stay.
This was the perfect place to stay in Steamboat and we had an awesome summer vacation. Close to everything, not outrageously priced, clean, and not cramped. The owner, Joy, was very nice and lives in town. Bottom line: Much, much better deal than a hotel, I would definitely stay here again.
This condo is in an excellent location and central to shopping, grocery stores and the bus to the mountain. It's a ground floor unit which makes it so easy when you have ski equipment and young children. The owner, Joy, is an outstanding hostess. She provided us with maps and restaurant suggestions and was readily available. The unit was impeccably clean, has a fully stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer along with comfortable beds. The bus ride to the mountain is so quick too. Our family will stay here again. It's a hidden gem!
Ski Town USA. This town has spawned more Olympians than any other in North America. If you want the best ski vacation of your life, there's no other place like it on earth. Steamboat sits seven thousand feet up in the Colorado Rockies at the foot of massive Mt. Werner. It's a ranching town that never strays very far from its roots. In Steamboat the Old West is alive and well and it sets us apart from every other ski resort in the world. Steamboat is a first-class destination resort. When you're not burning down the mountain or ripping the new Mavericks SuperPipe you can enjoy cross country skiing or snowmobiling through the mountains and valleys that surround Steamboat. The other side of winter in Steamboat includes worldclass dining, a broad spectrum of night life, sophisticated spas to pamper and sooth every muscle and pore and, of course shopping, shopping, shopping!
Steamboat Springs is a well known for its world class skiing, scenic hiking trails, thrilling biking trails and more. During the summertime, Steamboat also hosts a wide variety of exciting events for everyone. Fly fishing in the Yampa Valley is one of the best ways to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the area. Getting up early and fishing through the sunsets allow many fishermen to see the most beautiful areas in town at the best times. The Steamboat Bike Park is an extraordinary new bike park in northwest Colorado with nearly 2,200 vertical feet of lift-served gravity fed and downhill flow trails.
