About Kim Sweeney
I am a native Tennessean and grew up in the Nashville area. My youngest children are now in college and my older children are young adults with thriving careers. Having been an entrepreneur forever and recently retired from the distribution company I started in 1990, I have been looking for something to keep me busy and cover the cost of my lake home. Having used VRBO for renting homes in the past, I began considering offering the house to travelers coming to Nashville. I wanted to be sure our guest felt like they were in a friends home and not an Investment Rental. My fiance Kim, and I worked for 2 months selecting and stocking the house to be sure it was 'right' and the response from our guest, now 'friends' has been overwhelming! We meet our guest at the house for check-in and have had made many friends. We are committed to making sure our guest have a great home to enjoy during their time in Nashville. We hope you come to Nashville and get a chance to stay in one of our homes! Dan and Kim

Why Kim Sweeney chose Mt Juliet
This home is the very place you are looking for if you want to relax and enjoy a getaway on the lake, in the country, away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the city but close enough (only 30 minutes) to all that Nashville has to offer!! It is the perfect balance for relaxation and excitement. Our home is so spacious and comfortable, our guests can actually find a quite space to read, reflect, and relax while vacationing with friends and family. The water, wildlife, fire pit, comfortable spacious accommodations, and convenience to the city makes our home a most desirable location for your stay.

We had the best time at this house and on the lake. Thank you for making your house available.
Great week of both lake life and city life
We understood there was a quick turnaround from the previous guests who stayed, so the owners may have been rushed with their cleaning. The main area seemed clean including the kitchen which was well stocked. The bedrooms however had carpet which was visibly dirty along the edges by the walls and one bedroom had carpet stains. There was debris and trash in the water around the dock area. When paying the price we did, we felt the place should be very well maintained. Other than that, Kim was a doll when showing us around at check-in and they were 100% responsive. We appreciated the clean hot tub which had just been cleaned and refilled by Dan. There were plenty of towels and other amenities. We had a wonderful week in Nashville and taking our boat on the lake!
Peaceful and Quiet
We had a nice stay at the house. It's got plenty of room for 4 couples. Feels welcoming, like staying at an older relatives cozy house. The house is on the water as stated and the river is lovely, we took a boat out for the day, but I wish we had known that the house and dock is situated on a small stagnated inlet of the river and not on the main body of water. You would not want to go in the water at the front of the house. The dock and outdoor sitting areas could really do with being cleaned. Lots of spider webs. There was an issue with the regular cleaner not showing after the previous guests stay and the owner had to clean and didn't finish until about 7pm on our arrival day so maybe the outdoor areas were overlooked. The area is peaceful and quiet.
Nice and Spacious
The house was very nice. Felt very comfortable there as it was very clean. Perfect for our group of eight adults and four small children. Appreciated the large open layout of the house as we had to spend some time indoors due to rain .
Memorial Day Weekend
Great house on the lake. Kim was very helpful with any questions we had.
