About this property

Fantastic Waterfront home on Smith Mountain Lake. This home features 3 bedrooms with 2 master suites. Located roughly in the middle of the lake area in a wide deep cove you are close to all of the action yet still isolated enough for simple peace and quiet.

Enjoy the sunset views while gazing out over the cove and the main channel. Plenty of good fishing and water sports for everyone. No one has a bad time around here.

Our dock with its party deck is included in your rental. Whether you want to spend the day in the water or just relaxing on the party deck this home has it all. For the 2017 rental season we have added a new floating dock. Corn Hole and 2 kayaks and paddles are included in your rental fees for your enjoyment.

The home has 3 bedrooms each with a full bathroom and outside access to either the upper or lower deck.

We take pride in keeping the home clean and everything in working order. All furnishing are in nearly new condition and specifically selected for your comfort.

To insure a pleasant environment for all our guests smoking is not allowed inside the home.

Alford’s Home Away from Home!!

A pleasure arriving to this lovely, fresh smelling home on the lake! Easy communication with the owners. Views from lakeside rooms were amazing. We loved drinking coffee on the top balcony where chipmunks entertained us below. We rented a pontoon and easily docked it at the property dock. Use of the owner’s crock pot was a nice touch for a home cooked pot roast. All appliances were easy to use and kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware, utensils, etc. Our favorite restaurant on the water was Napoli. Several excellent restaurants (Bull Docks, Bella Vita Italian) were a short drive from the property as well as the grocery store and Bridgewater Marina. Stay here if you’re looking for a lovely vacation on SML!!
