This is a great central location - near everything cool in Austin and walking distance to fun spots like the Broken Spoke, Matt's El Rancho, and Torchy's and more along South Lamar.

This one bedroom condo is a perfect spot to stay while in Austin. It is has a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, sumptuous mattress and linens, and is otherwise simply decorated with thoughtful touches. We thrive to keep the feel updated, fresh, and clean. There is Google Fiber Wi-Fi to keep you connected during your stay. The pool is just outside your door.

It's a quick trip to Downtown, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, and much more. Don't miss the new Seaholm project - urban re-use of great Art Deco architecture that once generated power for the city! The Lady Bird Lake trail - miles of walking/running, great parkland, and views.

There is easy parking and great access to transportation routes. The condo community is an updated 32 unit complex with walk access to Barton Oaks neighborhood. It is along the CapMetro #3 bus route that runs the length of Austin. Located on Manchaca Rd, between Ben White Blvd (Hwy71) and South Lamar Blvd (TX343) just east of Mopac (Loop 1).

Why Gina Diehl, owner chose South Lamar

We did not set out to own a condo, but we love this spot.

It is unique: located in central Austin; close to so much that we loved about Austin; yet, it is nestled on a hill in trees in a small community with a terrific pool. The shade of trees and the cool water are two things everyone appreciates during a central Texas summer, but they make this place special year 'round.

We update and care for the interior so it stays fresh and inviting. Come visit!

The condo is great. Very clean and very well equipped. It's a nice, quiet place. Already met 2 of the neighbours. Very friendly. We feel very lucky to have found this place.

  • A fold-away Frontgate raised air mattress, twin size with internal electric pump, is provided for the third guest. For parents, there is space for it to be set up in the bedroom. Adorable condo steps from an in ground pool!

Ginas condo was perfect! Clean, cozy and every amenity you needed to feel at home. Any issue what so ever she was there in minutes with a smile and a fix. Mine was silly, not knowing how to get the Netflix on! ( I'm not tv savvy) lol. But Gina came an in under a minute explained how simple it was and never laughed at me. Thanks Gina. I'm coming back here every chance I get. The area is beautiful, fun and loaded with great restaurants, fun activities and not to mention just a few short minutes from the city of Austin and Zilker park for paddle boarding, canoeing or just a beautiful adventure in Texas! The tenants were charming, inviting and friendly. Best stay I ever experienced and I'm quite picky! Thank you again for a lovely stay. You've convinced my family to move here next year. A lovely one-bedroom, nicely equipped, and convenient to South Austin activities (10-12 minute drive to So. Congress). Gina, the owner, was really lovely and made the stay as convenient and easy as possible. A real thumbs up.

I'd like to thank you so much for all you've done for us. What a great stay. Location is perfect and Gina is an angel. The home was perfect for us. Me, my wife and my 3 years old daughter were impressed on how cozy and clean it was. I truly recommend anyone that wants a good experience of the warmth of Austin.

Perfect Home/Perfect Location

The homeowners couldn't have made a better experience for us in our transition to Austin. We relocated and needed a temporary place to stay. They made they made the moving process much less stressful by providing all the modern conveniences. The whole place is clean and "fresh." The condo development is quiet and so convenient to great restaurants and tourist spots. I will recommend to friends and family when they visit!

Just perfect!

I stayed at this property with my husband, and it was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic; everything we wanted to do was close and easy to get to, and there were a variety of transportation options; it's very near a CapMetro stop, and also near enough to walk or bike to lots of restaurants and attractions(in fact, we attended ACL Fest while there, and just walked to Zilker Park). It's so peaceful and comfortable, and we loved the cozy Texas decor and furnishings. The bathroom and kitchen are gorgeous, and thoughtfully included anything we could've needed for our stay. Gina was a fantastic hostess; so helpful and accommodating, and such a pleasure to work with from the start of the booking process through our stay. We would love to stay here again next time we're in Austin!
