Sunrise Ridge is a big, beautiful cabin, just like you imagine a Colorado home should be! 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are perfect for a large group. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park, 5 minute walk to town, across from an official Elk sanctuary, and off-street parking.
Please keep reading below to see all that we have to offer at Sunrise Ridge. Our calendar is always up to date and we love answering questions.
There's a King-size loft with a huge TV, open layout kitchen and dining, 2 queen rooms, a 6-sleeper bunk room, a fire pit, tons of outdoor space, and even a home theater!
The newly renovated kitchen includes brand new stainless steel appliances including a huge fridge, convection stove, and stainless steel interior microwave and dishwasher. The granite counter tops give you plenty of room to make meals and one also doubles as a breakfast bar. There's a Keurig coffee machine and toaster to get you ready for that morning hike. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you might need including place settings, pots and pans, baking dishes, spices, condiments, and lots of little extras so you have more time to enjoy your vacation. The kitchen is open to the dining room and living room so you won't have to miss a thing.
The dining room is right off the kitchen and seats 7 people comfortably. If your group is larger than 7, it's easy to sit in the living room or out on the upper deck and still feel like you're all together. The dining room table is surrounded by windows and is a great place to enjoy a meal or play a game.
Right off the dining room and kitchen is the living room that features a beautiful wall of windows facing out to the elk sanctuary, where you'll regularly see deer and elk in the evenings and mornings. A 55" 4K TV with Dish Network, Netflix, and a DVD/Blu-ray player make this room a great place to relax and have fun.
The second-story deck faces the elk sanctuary has two tables and seating for 10 so you can enjoy your meal outside, your coffee in the morning, and a glass of wine at night. There's also a brand new propane grill.
The master bedroom is a large loft with pine ceilings and views of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker. It has a brand new king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, ceiling fan, and plenty of storage. You'll find a nook with a work desk and access to fast WiFi if you need to stay connected while you're visiting. There's also a 50" 4K TV with Dish Network, Netflix, and a DVD/Blu-ray player. Fans of The Stanley Hotel will love the Stephen King book and movie library. It truly is a wonderful retreat after a day of hiking or sightseeing.
There are two bedrooms with Queen beds, one on the main floor and one on the lower floor. They each have dressers and end tables as well as plenty of closet space.
Head on downstairs to the home movie theater where you can enjoy a large library of Blu-ray movies and free Netflix access on a gigantic 65" 4K TV. There's a plenty of seating for the whole family where you can gather and relax, watch movies, or play games.
The fenced in backyard features a huge stone outdoor fire pit that's perfect for roasting marshmallows and spending some quality time together. Don't be surprised if you see some elk on the other side of the fence!
The Bunkroom sleeps 6 in two bunk beds, each with a double and twin bed. This camping themed room has numbered beds and "log" pillows to make you feel like you're away at camp. Kids will love this room but so will any grown-up young at heart.
The bathroom on the lower floor has been newly remodeled and has a huge whirlpool tub so you can take a nice long soak after your hike. Beautifully decorated with slate style tiles, you'll feel just like you're at the spa.
Tim and Stacy grew up in rural Kansas and headed to the mountains as soon as they could. They live full time in Fort Collins and come up to Estes Park whenever they have free time.
Stacy Fisher purchased this cabin in 2015
Since we've moved to Colorado, we've spent almost every weekend up in Estes Park hiking, shopping, and just soaking up the mountain sun. Estes Park is a special place that feels like home while at the same time feels like a vacation. We know you'll enjoy it just as much as we do.
When we first walked into what's now Sunrise Ridge, we couldn't take our eyes off those big windows and the beautiful view. We immediately knew it was a special place and it felt like home. Early morning hikes are easy with the short driving into Rocky Mountain National Park. After a quick nap, we love to take the short walk to downtown Estes Park where we eat lunch out and do some shopping. We head back to Sunrise Ridge and love to relax on the deck with a glass of wine.
This house was simply phenomenal: So well designed, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked... There are not enough superlatives to do this home justice! Proximity to town so great ( yet quiet!): we saw a herd of elk in the sanctuary one AM! The "Shining" collection provided such mesmerizing entertainment!! Thank you to the owners for truly making this a home away from home!!!
I could not have asked for a better location, accommodations or "host". Tim and Staci were always helpful and very responsive with in minutes usually from my very first inquiry. From the moment we walked in and there was a welcome gift of wine and makings for smores- we just felt at home. The set up is perfect for all sorts of groups. There is a huge loft upstairs(mine and my husbands), a first floor bedroom(my inlaws) and then two bedrooms in the downstairs (teenage daughters). There was never a moment we felt cramped or in anyones space. We cooked on the grill every night, we made breakfast every morning, and walked to downtown everysingle day after our hikes in the Rocky Mountains! Everything is in beautiful shape and the only regret I have is that I couldn't stay there longer. We will absolutely be going back and enjoying our home away from home in Estes Park! You will absolutely not be disappointed on any level with this beautiful home and location!
This property had all the amenities we could ask for in Estes Park. The house has fantastic views out of every window. Plenty of comfortable seating. Very well stocked kitchen. Huge elevated deck with ample seating. Lower level fire pit area with fire wood furnished. The burn ban prevented us from using the pit, but looks fun during wetter periods. Even though you are only a 4 minute walk from down town you felt like you were miles away. The 3 levels gave every one ample space to spread out.
Both entrances to RMNP are just minutes away.
The owners were very nice and very easy to work with. The bottle of wine on the counter as a "welcome gift" was a very nice touch. They had a very helpful book to explain how every thing worked and where things were located. Suggestions for sights and hikes in RMNP, local restaurants and activities.
We hope to make this an annual event.
This place was perfect! The house was clean and everything in it is high quality from the appliances all the way down to the utensils. There are nice flat screen TV's on every level which are great for watching a movie or turning on cartoons for the kiddos.
The location is perfect! It's just a short walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. It's also just a short drive to RMNP which is a must see!
I would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit it again ourselves.
The home was just what we hoped for. It had the room we needed and the location was great, only a couple blocks from the center of town. We walked to town every day and enjoyed the Farmer's Market and other events.
The young kids enjoyed the Bunkhouse bedroom and also the video room with the large TV.
We had a wonderful time!
