Beautiful location, beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect, and affordable.
Recently updated apt.! Very nice and Helpful owner I highly recommend. Spent the New Year weekend snowmobiling. Was able to get access from the pond right to the trails!
Really nice and helpful home owner! Thank you for letting us stay!
I was looking for a quiet weekend in another part of Maine that I could explore and unwind. I was greeted on my way in and given a tour of the property. She was helpful with restaurant suggestions and local information.
The apartment was lovely and immaculate. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms had all the basics and a little more. She was so kind as to have the coffee maker ready to go with coffee and sugar on the counter and cream in the fridge. Dishes for four and the wine opener for later, and a good selection of cooking tools to use this beautiful kitchen. ( better than mine here at home).
The bathroom was a good size with towels for both of us. The bathroom had a hairdryer, soap, shampoo. The shower curtain is even the same one at my place!
The bedrooms we comfortable and welcoming.
Lots of windows bring in natural light and blindes for relaxing in front of the tv for a Netflix movie.
The location is just off of Main Street and cute shop's and tasty restaurants. We want to come back again for a longer stay next time
My wife, our 14-month-old baby, and I stayed at this property for one week in August 2016. The first thing that struck us upon entering was how immaculate it was. Everything is super clean, new, and comfortable. There are two good-sized bedrooms (one with a queen, and one with 2 twin beds), a large and updated bathroom, a living room, dining area, kitchen, an outdoor deck with a brand new grill, and even a small reading nook with a rocking chair facing a window overlooking Haley Pond. The pictures don't do it justice. We have stayed in several AirBnB and Homeaway properties, and this is now our favorite in Maine. The apartment is centrally located for everything in Rangeley (walk 5-8 minutes to all the restaurants, the public library -- where you can get a library card, even as a visitor -- post office, laundromat, etc., and the grocery store (IGA) is a 5-minute drive up the road). The apartment is also directly across the street from a great local outfitter store where you can rent canoes or paddle boats and has a great array of local products. The area is stunningly beautiful, and Marie has a wealth of visitor information on the coffee table listing the best hikes, scenic overlooks, picnic areas, and parks. Highly, highly recommend this property. Loved staying there, and a big 'thank you' to Marie and her son, Cliff for all they did to make us feel right at home.
