Great North Phoenix location with quick 2 min access to freeways (Loop 101 and SR 51), 5 min drive to first class shoping & dining at Desert Ridge Marketplace. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, chiseled edge granite counters & beautiful maple cabinets. Large dining room table comfortably seats 8. Large living room includes a 55" HDTV big screen TV with Direct TV DVR & DVD. We will even record your favorite programs ahead of time for you to watch on the comfy 14 foot sectional leather sofa.

Well-appointed large master suite with Queen bed, dual nightstands with lamps, large mirrored dresser and armoire including a 32' TV with Direct TV. Fully remodeled master bath with conveniently located washer and dryer for easy access.

Our Den off the Living room has a brand new queen bed with designer sheets, cozy comforter, large dresser, nightstand and lamp. It also serves as a nursery with an $800 designer Bellini Maple crib, a high chair and a child car seat.

Came to Arizona from Chicago to go to ASU and immediately fell head over heels in LOVE with the peace, beauty and tranquility of the Sonoran Desert. Been a full time resident here ever since for over 30 years now.

Yeah, the summers are hot here but the rest of the year is absolutely idyllic.

I bought this property as it is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is super convenient for getting around. I have a property manager that lives close by and can visit you quickly if needed for anything. Several tenants have locked themselves out, our manager is less than 2 minutes away to rescue them. The exterior of the home is somewhat modest looking, but makes up for the lack of optimal curb appeal with excellent amenities and convenient location with quick freeway access.

This location is supurb, nestled in a quiet neighborood yet within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, parks and sports bars.

If you love to mountain bike or hike, trails are minutes from the home. Coyote Basin Park is 100 yards from this suburbly located vacation home and features a playground, jogging & cycling loop as well as vast open spaces over 20 acres big.

This home just received a total makeover renovation in December, 2014 including new electrical, drywall, flooring, paint, lighting, etc. It is furnished very nicely with an $8,000 leather sectional sofa in the living room, full Master suite with amoire, dual nightstands and mirrored dresser. An $800 Bellini crib in the nursery / den for your little ones. Charming lighted hutch in the breakfast nook.

Abundant shopping and dining within minutes. Coffee Shop, Pizzeria, fast food and Costco is only 1/4 mile away, out home is perfect for getting out and quickly finding golf, dining, shopping or whatever it is that you are into discovering.

We have lots of games to pass the time including a wide selection of the most popular board games including Pictionary, Monopoly, Risk, Trivial Pursuit, over a dozen puzzles for all ages from 10 pieces for tots to up to 1,000 pieces for those looking for a real challenge.

Wondefrful experience

Had a great time. Found the house and landlord both exceeded our expectations. Tony was a wonderful host. He was attentive to our every need. The house was both spacious and functional. This was a true case of not judging a house by its curb appeal. We lacked for nothing during this stay. The rental is 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is a washer and dryer on site. We would highly recommend this owner and his property.

Owner's Response: Barney's experiences are typical of our guests, many of which do not take the time to comment on their stay. Since the home was fully remodeled was in 2014, it has exceeded most all of our guests expectations, as it is virtually brand new inside. The photo's say it all.

Very pleasant experience

Tony the landlord bent over backwards to make sure every detail was spot on. My wife and I thought this booking was a very good value. You can tell he has put a good deal of money into making this place as much like home as possible. Close to major freeways and surrounded by all the amenities you will need to make your stay a good one. We recommend this listing for others.

Not quite what it seems

If you have 5 or 6 guys down for a weekend of spring training, it's OK. However, if you want to impress someone or take your wife, you should run for the hills. The inside is allright having been remodeled, however the house is a double wide, on a shady street with no yard other than the front which is surrounded by a chain link fence, not conducive for entertaining. The house is not level as I felt I was leaning the whole time. He had extra wood stored on top of the TV. The owner came over twice during our stay to pick weeds and do minor improvements. My guess was that he was checking up on us and it was a little creepy. In fact, he came in the house and challenged us to a foosball game for money! Are you kidding me? I should have spent another $100 a night and got a pool, hot tub and other amenities not offered by this property, and are offered throughout the Phoenix area. It had a small yard on the side, littered by junk and an old shed that we joked was probably full of dead people. Don't let the pictures or the price fool you, unless you love horror movies.

Owner's Response: The home is completely remodeled including new framing, drywall, electrical, roofing, etc at a cost of over $35,000. The pictures speak for themselves and accurately represent the home. This guest never once mentioned any of the issues that he takes shots at me about. His rambling reply makes light of his misrepresenting my property. I'm sorry that he finds it bothersome that I take pride in the property and keeping the front yard free of weeds. The street is fine, many site built homes in the area, the renters reply is not a fair representation of my home. Before the remodel, it needed some updating Since the FULL remodel, the home is a clean and affordable 3 bedroom in North Phoenix. The curb appeal will not impress, as clearly stated in our description, but it is charming and comfortable inside.

+ Host is friendly. Before and after we arrived, he called.

+ Provides Towel, Shampoo, hair dryer, and everything

- Blanket is not enough (winter time)

I will recommend this house for sure.

Wonderful holiday

We were very satisfied with this property. It was excellent for our dogs. We could go for walks every day around the neighbourhood. We could also walk to Costco which was very convenient. Tony, the landlord lives on the property and was always available if we needed anything. The location made it easy to get anywhere because we were so close to major roads. We had everything we could have needed in the home. Thank you for the wonderful holiday.

Family Reunion

Thanks to Tony and his charming, spacious house for providing us with a great (and affordable) place to stay in Phoenix. We were 6 adults and a 2 month old visiting Phoenix (Cave Creek area) for our mom’s 90th birthday/family reunion. The house had just been totally remodeled and we were very comfortable there. The location was excellent as we had to make a few trips to the airport picking up relatives and we went to Cave Creek every day and nothing was more than 20 minutes away. We did have two family dinners and one brunch in the house and it was so much fun cooking in the beautiful kitchen with everything you need at hand! Cosco is walking distance! Everything listed on the site regarding furnishings, linens, appliances, etc. is true – all in brand new condition and high quality. The Direct TV with DVR was a nice surprise too.

Owner's Response: Since completing our full soup to nuts remodeling on the property, we have had nothing but positive comments from our guests. Before the remodeling, it was a bit dated, since the remodeling, it is very comfortable and inviting throughout the home.
