The cottage was super cute and clean. Great location!
A Perfect Beachside Cottage!
Our stay at the East Side Harbor Cottages was great! While the weather did not totally cooperate, the clouds and fog were really a non-issue and added to the experience. The cottage was clean upon arrival and was just as the listing described. The grounds were beautiful. Our dog especially loved the lush green grass. While the beach is a short walk across the short dunes, it was very peaceful and serene. The location was perfect for exploring Provincetown, Wellfleet, and the National Seashore.
Susan was very helpful and prompt. She sent along great directions and things worked perfectly.
The highlight of our trip was on board the Dolphin X whale watching excursion. The sun broke through the clouds just in time for us to board the ship and we were treated to a spectacular show by no fewer than a dozen beautiful humpback whales. It was thrilling! We also very much enjoyed climbing to the top of the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown. What a view it is from up there! The majestic dunes are Hanging Valley and the Highland Lighthouse were also very cool, even on a cloudy day. Our six year old had a great ride with us on the Nauset bike trail to Coast Guard Beach in Eastham. We even saw 6 giant turkeys in the woods near the salt pond!
The restaurants we visited were all very good. Yolk in P-Town is a great spot for breakfast. The Lobster Pot in P-Town served a classic meal. Moby Dick's in Wellfleet was seriously good as was the Chatham Squire down in Chatham.
This was our first trip to Cape Cod and we look forward to making a return!
