Honua Kai is one of Maui's most luxurious five star resorts. Situated on North Kaanapali Beach, this oceanfront property is located just north of the Westin Kaanapali Villas. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations on a beautiful sandy beach with a lot of privacy, then this is for you! Honua Kai sits beachfront so you'll literally be just steps away form the tranquility of Maui's shoreline.

This couples and family friendly resort has 3 large pools and 5 hot tubs! The OHANA Pool is an infinity-edge lap pool featuring two hot tubs and perfect ocean views. The WATERSLIDE Pool features a one hundred and twenty foot waterslide and a waterfall that cascades into the main swimming area. Natural lava rock forms an elevated hot tub that takes in the ocean views. The WATERSLIDE Pool is also connected to a smaller pool with a sandy beach and a shallow walk-in, great for babies and small children. The RIVER Pool features a meandering river that flows through smaller swimming holes and waterfalls.

Our condo, Hokulani 410, is located on the 4th floor in the south building, known as the Hokulani Building. The Hokulani Building is one of two buildings on the resort and features the main reception area and the Aina Gourmet Market for your convenience.

Our luxurious 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath unit is spacious at 1,100 square feet, plus a 235 square feet lanai. The suite can accommodate six guests in two king-sized beds and one queen -sized convertable sofa sleeper. Enjoy the designer furnishings and exquisitely appointed top of the line features including Bosch appliances, granite counter tops, and elegant modern fixtures. The suite is bright and airy and faces south with partial ocean views and mountain views. The benefit of southern exposure in Maui is that our lanai is not exposed to the NE trade winds common in Maui. Therefore you can relax or have meals on the lanai while enjoying the year-round sunshine without being blown away. We couldn't be any happier with this suite!

We live in Vancouver, Canada with our two school aged children. Our family has been vacationing in Maui every year for over a decade, and we decided it was time we purchased a piece of paradise! We love sharing the beauty of the island and culture with our children. Our new home at Honua Kai has been a dream come true. You will find that our condo is well kept and cared for. The kitchen is fully stocked with suffient cookware for the family chef and plenty of beautiful matching dinnerware. Basic sundries such as laundry soap, dishsoap, paper towels, etc. are provided. We take pride in ensuring our condo is continually updated so that our guest will enjoy a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Notes:
The property is located on the world famous Ka'anapali North Beach and is walking distance to Black Rock (1 mile) and Whaler's Village (2 miles) along a beautiful shoreline boardwalk, great for walkers, joggers and strollers. Honua Kai fronts a sandy beach great for sunbathing and the ocean out front is excellent for swimming and snorkelling. Lahaina Town is less than a 10 minute drive and is a recommended visit for shopping, siteseeing and dining. Aina Market, run by the owners of PacificO, Feast at Lele, and O'o Farms, is a gourmet deli/market (think mini Whole Foods) located in the lobby of our tower and serves delicious sandwiches, treats and great locally grown coffee. Conveniently located across the street from the property is the Times Supermarket for your groceries and there is a popular local farmer's market every Mon, Wed and Fri about a mile down the road.

Maui offers many activities, including snorkeling, diving, paddle surfing, exploring waterfalls, ziptrekking, pacific cuisine, just to name a few. One water activity we particularly enjoy is stand up paddling on a oversized surfboard. The learning curve is short and it is a great way to explore the shoreline, and perhaps see some turtles. We also have complimentary boogie boards and beach chairs in our suite for your use.
