About Leslie Seykora
Gary and Leslie are two retired teachers who have worn 'other' hats as well. Gary loved to paint houses, Leslie did calligraphy and worked in a financial advisor's office for a time. Right now we are enjoying our new move to Wabasha. We love being in Wabasha because it is a very good place to be! It's also very nice to be able to personally take of our guests at Harbor View if they need something. We are also the parents of 3 adult sons, 3 wonderful daughters-in-law and grandparents to 8.
Why Leslie Seykora chose Wabasha
Have to say that as much as we enjoyed bringing our young boys and our boat to Lake City every summer when we found Wabasha we were delighted. We came over one day in July about 10 years ago and found Harbor View to be perfect for us. The people are what's special about a place and Wabasha has wonderful people. When we returned on one of the coldest days in January we found it to be cozy and peaceful. In the fall we love to sit by the fire-ring as we look at the stars and greet those who stroll by. We love its situation right by the trail within walking or biking distance of everywhere! Out dog has loved it too! And we could leave our boat nearby in a public slip or on the trailer right next door. Now that we live here HV is more available to others. Its been fun to meet people with similar interests to our own.
What makes this Condo unique
Wabasha offers a quiet that some of the other rivertowns do not because the railroad and the highway don't run right beside the river here! The first time we saw the National Eagle Center it was just a small storefront downtown filled with the most knowledgeable and accommodating volunteers we ever encountered. It has only gotten better and we are members now. Of course the golf is great and the views from the course stupendous. When we desire a little side trip the small towns up and down the river on both sides offer some exciting diversions for adults and kids alike. We are so impressed with the professional people that provide great art, wonderful theater and a superb variety of music. We could go on and on but we hope you will come and seek out the hidden jewels yourself!

Comfortable and convenient
We enjoyed our second visit to this comfortable and convenient rental unit. The owners are very attentive to detail and welcome their guests with a special note. This time we brought our fishing boat and put it in the water at the boat launch just across the street. We also brought our dog and found the walking paths and nearby parks very convenient. We walked to the Eagle Center and stopped for ice cream on the walk back. It was a warm weekend so it was good to spend some time indoors in this cool, comfortable unit.
Returning guests get a discount! We do enjoy having returning guests like Darlene and Joe! It's fun to get to know them and hear from them what they enjoy about Wabasha and HarborView! We can't change the outdoor weather but there is always something to do in Wabasha, inside or out, on the river or not.
Cozy and Quiet
We really enjoyed our stay. I love when a rental looks even nicer than the pictures, and that was the case here. It was very pleasantly decorated and comfortable, also clean. Close to downtown Wabasha. There was another couple staying in the other half of the property, and we didn't hear anything, it was like we had our own house. As the owner disclosed, there is no wi-fi, our cell service was very poor inside the unit(T Mobile).
Very clean and well appointed
We had a great stay, and highly recommend this VRBO!
Exactly what I expected but better!
We enjoyed our visit to the area for our anniversary. Very nice and quiet.
Leslie was very helpful and the anniversary card and little gift was a great surprise. Enjoyed the concert under the bridge and ice cream.
What a hidden gem and GREAT place to stay! We attended a friends wedding and decided to stay here instead of a hotel; We made the absolute right decision! Super comfy place and the hosts are great! Very clean and neat! Host instructions for everything were very clear and everything was as expected. We had a wonderful experience! When we visit the area again we will for sure be booking here again!
THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER is only a half mile! KAYAKING TOURS or FISHING GUIDES are available in Wabasha. We have done both & love them.
THE NATIONAL EAGLE CENTER is less than a mile away and one of a kind in the USA. We love the professionalism of the employees & volunteers.
LARK TOY CO. is 6 miles from your suite. Readers Digest chose it as one of the 10 best toy stores in the world! You will find toys for all ages as well as mini-golf with colored water falls, llamas grazing in the back, toy-makers busy at work where you can watch and, best of all, a handmade unique indoor Carousel that you won't want to pass up! Sandwiches and treats are sold there as well. It is an adventure in itself south of Wabasha near Kellogg on Hwy 61. Great for all the old folks, too.
