This brand new cottage sleeps 4 adults and is great for fishermen or for anyone wanting to relax in a scenic setting.
The river is beautiful, of course, and the property faces a wonderful, tall bluff on the other side of the river.
Nearby attractions are the Buffalo National River, Bull Shoals Lake,
Norfork Fish Hatchery with it's youth fishing area at Dry Run Creek,
Crooked Creek (smallmouth bass fishing) & trophy fishing areas on the White River.
Farther away, but an easy day trip, are Blanchard Springs Caverns and
Mountain View Ozark Folk Center.
Mountain Home is the nearest large shopping town, 30 minutes away.
Branson, Missouri is only 70 miles from Flippin.
Just staying home and sitting on the back patio is a great option too!
A favorite activity of our renters has been enjoying the fire pit --
grilling and sitting around the fire at night.

The property was a little difficult to find. Directions were fine until we got close, then I had to call for help because it was not clear where to go. The property was as pictured on the website. I couldn't get the WiFi to connect. I confirmed the password with the manager, but it still did not work. I was most likely doing something wrong. It was quiet and I was able to do some reading while others fished on the river. The fishing was not very good mostly because of the fluctuation of the water level coming from Bull Shoals Lake as it is released. There were lots of boats up and down the river as well. It is a popular place for sure.
There were a lot of Grandaddy Longleg spiders around both inside and outside. There were webs in the corners of the main room and one web went from the TV table to the window ledge. The kitchen was adequately stocked with basic dishes, pots, and pans. Need a new shower curtain liner in the bathroom. Nice supply of towels and wash cloths.
Built a fire on the last night in the fire pit. Too windy other days. Nice to have wood available for that. The 10-year old ate a lot of marshmallows.
We did not go out to eat, so I can't really give an opinion about that. Can get last minute supplies in Flippin at the Wal-Mart if you're coming from that direction.
We would recommend this place to others for a nice get away.
Very nice new house with great river access. Enjoyed stay very much with only negative being very slow Internet service. Shouldnt be using it at a place like this anyway!
Had a great weekend trip here. House is small but well equipped and modern. River access was great and we caught tons of trout!
My family and I had a wonderful time at the cottage! So comfy and cozy! Perfect size for a family of 4 plus a dog! It was well stocked with towels, dishes, etc. Loved that it was right by the river. We seen tons of wildlife during our stay which my 2 young boys LOVED! We did not want to leave. We'll be back again someday!
As always, cabin was clean and ready. Nice job by Jo Adams and crew.

This was a clean, updated cabin with a wonderful view and easy access to the river. We were able to fish some from the shore and although the water stayed up pretty high the whole time due to the gates running from the dam, it was a peaceful location and just what we were looking for this summer. If you do not have a boat, we suggest a rental from White Hole resort. They were very friendly.

The White River is a world-famous trout fishing area. Some of the best fishing is right out our back door. We own 200 feet of river front. Plus there is boat access just 1/4 mile away. The cabin is quiet and peaceful, good for relaxing on the patio or by the water's edge. There are many activities in the area -- our favorite is canoeing on the scenic Buffalo National River which is just 35 minutes away.
