Our Victoria Junction World

The loft apartment is situated within the small, luxurious 4 star Victoria Junction complex (Mariott Hotels) in the most sought after area of Cape Town; minutes walk to the V&A Waterfront, Silo District & Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA), De Waterkant, the International Convention Centre, Bree Street and the city centre.

We offer free unlimited fibre optic internet.

The stylish, fully equipped loft benefits from a sparkling swimming pool with poolside bar and restaurant service. The loft's private outdoor patio offers a relaxing space for sundowners or morning coffee. The complex offers the highest level of 24 hour security.

The best restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs in Cape Town are within a safe and easy stroll. As we are so perfectly located there is always a full supply of UBER taxis in the area 24/7 and there is a taxi rank outside the door.

The V&A Waterfront is a 10 minute stroll and the International Conference Centre is a 15 minute walk.

A full range of upmarket grocery and liquor stores, along with beauty spas, clothing, pharmacies and health food stores are all within a 5 minute stroll.

Parking

There is a public parking garage situated just 50 meters from the loft, it has 24 hour security and the rate is $1 per hour during the day and an overnight special rate of $5 between the times of 7pm to 7am. There is also free on-street parking on Prestwich Street directly in front of the loft complex.

Getting around

There is a taxi stand in front of complex as well as the fantastic MiCiti bus stop. As we are so perfectly located there is always a full supply of UBER taxis in the area 24/7. Though you do not need a car to explore and enjoy Cape Town from this enviable location, should you require parking you can avail of paid-for- parking in the car park on Cardiff Street, (50 metres away) or you can avail of free on- street parking directly outside the complex. The distance between the Cape Town International airport and the loft is a mere 15 to 20 minute drive.

Property is stylish, well kept and secure

Frank’s loft provided a well located , well priced and well kept environment for our one month stay in Cape Town. Its walking distance from the V&A waterfront and Silo district allowed me to use the Virgin Active fitness club during our stay, a very valued benefit. Although there is no view from the loft, it is very stylish and receives a lot of natural light, all in all a very comfortable environment with all the necessary amenities, including on premise parking and weekly housekeeping. Ideal for a couple (1 bedroom, 1 bath upstairs) to enjoy the many attractions of the Cape Town City and surrounding areas.

Comfortable Stay in Cape Town

Property is very well equipped, and conveniently located to very good restaurants and the waterfront. This a loft apartment with the bed and only bath upstairs. The property is attached to the Victoria Junction Hotel (Marriott), and they proved very helpful. Perfect for two people. We did not have a car, and in Cape Town after dark we required a cab. During late rush hour they were in short supply. We waited over an hour for an Uber, 10 minute ride.

Very nice place to stay and good location.

This loft is situated in a nice, safe part of the city, within a short walking distance of many good restaurants and a large Spar Supermarket and mall, which has a great selection of groceries and anything else you need. The owner, Frank, was very helpful. He arranged to have a driver meet us at the airport and bring us to the loft, for a reasonable price. Complementary beer and wine awaited us upon our arrival! My son got sick during our stay, but fortunately Frank let us stay an extra day at the loft!

The V&A Waterfront is a few minutes walk/ taxi ride away and this complex hosts oodles of restaurants, shops, art exhibitions etc.

In the city, Loop and Bree Streets, both a 10 minute walk from the loft have a selection of galleries, bars and cafes and also SAM,South African Market which has local designers work, clothes, accessories, art etc.

I would recommend all of the above. You will be able to access most of these via the "hop on, hop off open top bus tour" which you can pick up outside the Aquarium, a 10 min stroll from the loft. The following places need to be done separately: The Old Biscuit Mill is 15 mins via Uber and has a farmers market at weekends. It houses some craft shops and two top restaurants, Pot Luck Club and the Test Kitchen, booking advisable for both. You can reach the Biscuit Mill via a 15 minute Uber ride.

Robben Island departs from the Waterfront and is weather dependent, book online in advance.

Table mountain is 10 minutes via Uber and is weather dependent, book online.

Cape Point Nature Reserve is 25kms from Boulders and both should be done together in a 'peninsula tour' or rental car from the city.
