Cozy beautiful house in a friendly community that has only one entrance, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, A/C trough all the house and can sleep 9 people comfortably.
Copy and paste to see Mrs. Jones. She just stayed at Casa Vista Verde and she wrote here:
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size mattress on the bottom and a twin mattress on the top. In the same room there is a captain bed that is equipped with twin beds. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with A/C, has ceiling fans in the living room, dining room and family room.
There are two full bathrooms which have a shower each with hot water (won't need it) all throughout the house. We have an outdoors shower (after beach). The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and fully stocked. There is a comfortably furnished living room, a dining room that seats 6, and a family/game room with a pool table. In the living room, pool room and and master bedroom there are 3 LCD TVs with Dish and Netflix.
There is High Speed WI-FI throughout the house. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer. Includes a nice alarm system and security cameras so you know that your valuables will be safe will you are out exploring paradise. Outside has nice landscaping with two shade sails on the patios that cover an outside table. It has a very nice brick barbecue and an area to hang the 2 hammocks and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand from the beaches.
The house is located 8 minutes away from Villa Pesquera Beach and a short drive to visit its many beaches stretching all the way West to Crash Boat. Nearby is Jobos Beach which is popular because of the surfing, stunning beaches, snorkeling, boogie boarding, kite surfing, paddle boating and wishing well! There are many hiking, biking, golfing, and sightseeing opportunities as well. Nearby are restaurants and bars right on the beach. A favorite is the Tsunami Bar/Grill which has a variety of dishes.
Our bilingual property manager, Randy, meets you when you get to the home and will be available to answer all your questions. He is a retired police officer from North Carolina that decided to stay forever in Isabela, Puerto Rico. He shows you the place, hands you the keys, cleans and does the laundry to reset Casa Vista Verde for the next guests. He is your main contact during your stay in Casa Vista Verde. Randy makes a living as the property manager (casero) and is very flexible for your arrival time. Please pay Randy the cleaning fee of $85.00 cash when you check in. You will be able to call and or text him as needed!
The home is located close to shopping malls, outlet malls and stores like WalMart and Walgreens nearby as well as several local grocery stores. Long term and short term renters are welcome and pets are allowed. This is a non-smoking home with plenty of room to smoke outdoors.

Diaz, 63, father of 3 adult kids, married for 41 yrs. to Nedeam Diaz, BA in Science, AS in Networking Engineering, Masters in Counseling, Masters in Networking Security. Currently a part time High School Computer Science Teacher and a Seminole State College Adjunct Professor. More Pictures her: http://1drv.ms/1N229U7
Among other things, I love history, photography and technology. I drink a glass of wine with my supper (Merlot). I'm a certified P.A.D.I. scuba diver since 1989 and always dreaming with finding a shipwreck with the mother load! I love anything to do with the Atocha and the Santa Margarita shipwrecks in Key West Florida. I own a very tiny piece of eight (ocho reales del Rey Felipe de España) wrapped with 18k gold and 7 emeralds as a neck pendant from Atocha.
In Isabela, I found, many years ago, a Taino indian arqueological site (I was 15). I kept digging and found several items that I turned in to a college professor from the University of Puerto Rico (his name escapes my memory, but it had a certain Russian flair to it). I might have kept the best two Cemis (gods) carved in rock, like the size of Idaho potatoes, don't know exactly their whereabouts now but got pictures of them.
I'm a 3rd ID US Army Veteran that served in Schweinfurt, FRG at the Brigade Office of the Staff Judge Advocate (learned some basic German).
Love teaching and my students think I'm cool! Life is Good!
Jose R. Diaz ¡Mi Casa Es Su Casa! purchased this house in 2015
Isabela brings a lot of beautiful memories from 1967. When 15 years old I lived for one year at the Order the Santo Domingo Seminary that used to be located in the Casa Parroquial across Isabela’s main square. I attended Francisco Mendoza HS for my 3rd year. I spent every chance I had exploring the beaches and the smaller country side Barrios making a lot of friends.
At la playa de Jobos (Jobos Beach) in the rocks, there is this magical place called El Pozo de San Jacinto (Saint Jacinto’s Well). This is a well formed into the rock by the sea that locals know as a wishing well. I used to visit this place a lot to see the surf burst through the big hole, I also made a few wishes like to be rich.
Isabela’s history kept me looking and digging in arqueological sites for Indian artifacts as I was captivated by this as a hobby. I’m a bit of a history buff and our Puerto Rican roots are very tied to the Taino Indians as well to the African and Spanish culture.
Isabela’s Taino Chieftain was Mabodamaca. Puerto Rico was known by Tainos as “Boriken” when they were invaded by the Spaniards. The history explains that Tainos believed they were gods & forced to carry the Spaniards on their backs to cross a river so their boots did not get wet. Three Tainos drowned a Spaniard Diego Salcedo midway a river, and sat to watch if he was an immortal god for three days! Thus during the year 1511 there was a Taino uprising throughout Boriken and Mabodamaca was the northwest leader. Many versions exist about what happened to Mabodamaca at the time, I prefer the one that says he disappeared into the woods and left his huge gold chest pendant somewhere to be found.
Even though during my stay in Isabela I wanted to be a Catholic priest, it was in Isabela that I found out priesthood was not for me and few years later married Nedeam (for 41 years and we have 7 grand kids)!
Ever since 1967 I always wanted to own a small part of Isabela and we just recently purchased Casa Vista Verde!
I chose this property because of it's location with only one entrance in a very safe neighborhood. I love the backyard very much. The people are very happy we bought the place. They have welcomed us making us feel like home. At times I needed some tools and did not feel like driving to Home Depot, they offered not only their tools but their help and allowed to use their bathrooms when the house was being tiled (did I mentioned the new 18 x 18 Porcelain tiles?).
The house has a real nice security system, and you will be able to arm and disarm the system when leaving or staying.
Two houses down, lives a real nice law enforcement officer which is kind of cool to know and adds to the neighborhood reputation of an excellent place to stay.
The house the fact that is so close to everything. It is 1.5 miles from La Villa Pesquera Beach and 11 minutes from Jobos Beach. The house sits very elevated from the sea level, so the only Tsunami you should worry about is when you visit that nice eatery at the Jobos Beach (ask for the owners of the Tsunami), I love their food!
The ECONO grocery store and the bakery "Los Talleres" are a short drive away. The Villa Pesquera has many traditional Kiosks that cater "cooked on the spot items", with live music on weekends and mucha cerveza!
The golf club Punta Borinquen (dirt nice and cheap of the Atlantic, club rented) in Aguadilla (also the ruins are nearby).
Aguadilla: Crash Boat Beach I learned some scuba diving in 1989! The aquatic park "Las Cascadas"is a lot of fun waiting to happen.
Explore the Caves in Camuy & World Largest Radio Telescope/Observatory located in Arecibo city.
Nothing like a visit to the Old San Juan city! Get there real early! Park in the municipal parking building, take free trolley up to explore El Morro Castle & slowly browse your way downhill to the front of the Bay area. Take the ferry boat across the San Juan Bay $1.00 round trip as you contemplate the fortified city from a different perspective!
estimado jose muchas gracias por la estadia en su casa, Randy fue excelente, todo muy bien, espero volver...
All you can need and much more in one house. Randy is absolutely great. Very lovely town, was very hard to leave. The best vacation place ever,
Beautiful home comfortable quiet awesome will rent it again in the future
Location was great to travel the west coast. Plenty of room for 6 people. Area was awesome for us, grocery store just up the hill. The house manager Randy was great. He met us at a agreed location to took us to the house. When we arrived at the house he answered all our questions and has very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was great. Never met the only but he made sure that I had the information to get with Randy the property manager. Randy was able to grant up an early check in due to the super early flight. The house had everything that you could imagine to need. There were extra sheets, towels, kitchen items, beds (lol), etc. It wasn t far from stores, bars and grills. I recommend getting a vehicle to visit all the beaches and rainforest. Definitely looking forward to another visit hopefully soon.
My Fiance and I plus our mother's came down to PR for 5 days for our surprise engagement celebration this past week. It was their first time but I myself have lived here almost my whole life, so I already knew the neighborhood and neighbors (Who are family & its safe) which made the experience even better. From the moment we arrived, the house looked clean and in great shape outside. Although we never got to meet the owner, Randy the property manager was extremely nice, humble and helpful. The house inside was perfect! Cozy, clean, spacious, had everything we needed and just lots of fun. Mins away from super markets, the beach & stores!! It felt like the perfect home. A great feel of what its like to live in paradise! We highly recommend for any sized family looking to relax comfortably!! This beats any hotel ANYTIME! We are definitely looking forward to going back and staying at Casa Vista Verde again!!! Thank you so much for making this experience for us comfortable & memorable!!! Location is everything people!!!! Til next time!
