Designed by renowned architectural firm Gillespie & Steel, The Pearl is one of only 15 apartments set within two acres of lush tropical gardens that lead directly onto a white sandy beach.

Many elements of decor from genuine mother-of-pearl were handmade especially for this property. In fact, The Pearl is an elegantly furnished three bedroom apartment nicely situated on the third floor of the well maintained and privately owned Sandy Cove residential development and boasts breath-taking views of the turquoise Atlantic Ocean.

This 3,200 sq. ft. open plan apartment, is a hidden gem with its chic decor, exquisite finishes and stunning views. Just imagine an entrance with large bespoke wooden doors that beckon you inside the opulent foyer from which there are two tastefully furnished bedrooms with private balconies, well positioned to the right. As you move through into the apartment, the kitchen, living room, covered dining terrace and master suite are situated to the left.

The tray ceilings throughout the apartment, beige marble floors, coral stone interiors and specially chosen accent pieces lend to the feel of luxury throughout. The Pearl offers a stylish yet warm feel, welcoming guests to a lavish holiday beyond their imagination.

There is an attractive, yet very functional, kitchen that features Miele appliances, a double door fridge with an icemaker, a microwave, a steam oven, an hob with oven and a dishwasher.

The living room is elegantly furnished with plush settees and complimentary Mother of Pearl accent pieces. There is a large flat screen TV equipped with both cable and Apple TV for those who might tire of watching the stunning sunsets or unobstructed views of the ocean.

The large covered terrace is outfitted with a dining table, a bar and wine chiller plus a private uncovered plunge pool ideal to relax in after basking in the sun. A private door on this terrace opens to a shared stairway that leads down to the gym, garden, big pool and the turquoise ocean with a gorgeous white sandy beach.

You won't want to leave this Caribbean gem!

We have been fortunate to have stayed in some wonderful places throughout the world and The Pearl ranks amongst the best. The photos almost don't do it justice. The apartment is beautifully decorated and carefully maintained. The housekeeper, Tammy, is excellent.

During our stay there were few others at Sandy Cove so we enjoyed the pool and beach to ourselves most days. We loved the restaurant scene in Barbados. The Cliff is definitely an experience (and there's a reason they don't advertise the prices!) but other dining recommendations would be Lone Star, Cin Cin, Daphne's.

We found it useful having a car to go to the supermarket and shops at Lime Grove and Chattel Village. The island is definitely worth exploring - Round Hill at Bathsheba is a good place to stop for lunch and enjoy the views.

My husband and son did a wonderful fishing trip with Geoffrey Tryhane of Speartime Charters.

The name The Pearl says it all!

We had a fabulous 10 days in this condo, and we were quite overwhelmed by the quality of the furnishings, which was further reinforced after exchanging our experience with fellow vacationers staying elsewhere on the property. Overall the condo could not have been better -truly excellent location, very quiet and private with fabulous access to the really stunning beaches the property backs on to.

We hired a car which worked out well because we wanted to see the island, but after a few days we found we really didn't need it - everything we wanted was in very easy walking distance, like the fresh fish market for meals at home, or the fabulous Cliff restaurant for eating out, that we could see from the superb balcony.

We can just imagine what a treat this place would be at Christmas - a delightful break from our chilly winter.

Looking forward to our next stay there!

Absolute perfection - exceeded all expectations

The condo was truly excellent. I never expected such a luxurious apartment, so beautifully furnished and so well maintained - clearly the owner has paid much attention to detail so that my experience was 5 star from start to finish. It is in a perfect location close to excellent restaurants and amenities, and what I really had not expected was the private beach, which was truly fabulous.

The owner was excellent and communication was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this property without any hesitation to friends and family.
