Come to Harwich and stay at our pristine cape style home in a safe, quiet neighborhood on a seven home cul-de-sac abutting the Cape Cod Rail Trail (CCRT). It is close to all amenities that the Cape has to offer including short walk to Hinckley and Long ponds. Red River beach is a short drive away with the warm waters of Nantucket Sound. Pleasant St. beach is also one of our favorites!

The location is perfect for those early mornings or evening walks any time of the year! This tastefully decorated property with nautical/ beach theme has 3 bedrooms all with king beds, 3 full baths and a master suite which has a Jacuzzi tub. There is additional sleeping on the lower level with bunk beds and a folding cot is also available.

Our lovely owner managed home was renovated in 2015 and includes a private 20x13 deck with table and chairs overlooking a manicured flat grassy yard large enough for ball playing, croquet, bean bag toss etc. Stone wall with mature plantings provide privacy.

The updated kitchen is well equipped and has oak cabinets. Relax in the bright and sunny living room located on the first floor with palladium ceiling which leads to the dining room and deck areas. The spacious outdoor shower encased with red cedar is new. There are beach chairs, boggie boards, beach umbrella, coolers, and assorted games for your use. Amenities include central air plus ductless units in the basement and MBR, wireless high speed internet (WIFI), smart TV, blu-ray, cable and all the modern conveniences of home. The new gas grill is ready for barbecuing.

Check in on Fridays to avoid heavy Cape Cod traffic typically seen more with Saturday changeovers.

Why Elaine Searle chose Harwich - Harwichport

I have been vacationing in Cape Cod since childhood and adore the Cape! I have fond memories of my yearly vacations with my parents and brother many years ago. I love the beaches, shops, galleries and much more that the Cape has to offer. My dream was to own a home on Cape Cod. We would like to share our home with you and hope you can make your own special memories for years to come!

Clean and spacious

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in Cape Cod. Elaine's house was very clean and had plenty of room for two couples to share. She was very responsive if we needed anything or had questions. The only drawback was that there was no shower in the master suite (there was a jacuzzi but no shower), so we had to go down the hall to shower in the bathroom that our friends were using. Not a big deal but a little inconvenient. The house was well located, easy to find, and great for visiting the cape and the surrounding islands.

Owner's Response: Glad you had a positive experience! The master bath which has a jacuzzi tub is very popular to many! Although a little inconvenient, I have heard from other clients that the three other showers offer plenty of options. Hope to see you back in Harwich in the future!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

House was as described and shown. No issues or complaints. Our first time to Cape Cod it was central to exploring all ports on the cape. Clean and well stocked. Beds comfortable. Could use more towels in the home. Otherwise had a great time exploring.

Family time!

  • 5 of 5

Our Cape Cod trip was a family Christmas present! We decided to forgo presents and instead share time together with our kids, their spouses and two year old grandson. We wanted to be together so searched for a home instead of hotel. What a great find this property was! The house offers a home-away-from home experience, in a quiet cul-de-sac. Each of the three couples had their own spacious bedroom with king size bed, and bathroom. There are also bunk beds in the finished basement! The kitchen/dining area contained all necessary amenities.

Elaine was quick to respond to emails, and provided us with lots of necessary house, and Cape information.

Whether enjoying a game of badminton, a bike ride on the path, or a game night, the Searl's have things covered! Our family really enjoyed our time on the Cape, and truly appreciated our stay on 11 Penobscot Way!
