About Cindy Skillman

My name is Cindy. Kevin is my husband, and we have lived in the Tahoe area for about 3 years. Our work allows us to live here, while being attentive to our guests. We love to meet people from many different places. We like to share our experiences and knowledge about the local activities and places. We look forward to sharing our lovely cabin with you for your special occasion, or just a relaxing mini-vacation!

Why Cindy Skillman chose Lake Tahoe North Shore

Our business involves dealing with snow and ice issues people have on their roofs and raingutters. We have a specialty product to solve problems, and have been here developing and marketing it for about 5 yrs. To be able to live and work here is such a blessing!

What makes this cabin unique

Our property offers such a nice relaxing environment, as our cabins sit on 3 lots! The grounds are not too steep, so outside living is a pleasure too. We have a nice view of the lake, without the hustle and noise of being right on the main highway around the lake. We have a southwest exposure, and get a nice sunny afternoon/evening, which also allows for great sunsets!

Great little cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I's weekend getaway to Tahoe. We loved the woodsy, quiet setting. The hot tub was great- even on 40 degree evenings. Upon arrival, there was a delicious banana bread waiting for us, twinkle lights on, and the heat running to make such a warm welcome. It was easy access to the main road around Tahoe as well as restaurants and hiking. The hosts are kind enough to leave you recommendations if you are unsure and little touches like coffees, teas, and condiments. The place is small, so while it sleeps 4, I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 people.

Would definitely stay here again- thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Charming, adorable, well-stocked cabin with lake view and hot tub on the patio! Affordable in Tahoe

  • 5 of 5

I have never stayed at a house rental before. I certainly will try this again. Much more value for the money and more space than from a hotel. The owners thought of everything we could possibly need, and even made a fresh loaf of cranberry bread. Our family of 4 - with kids in their teens - twenties barely fit comfortably in the space, but the knotty pine walls, the view and little white rope lights made the cabin feel cozy, rather than small.

We are located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. We are within 20 minutes to 8 major ski resorts, all water sports and activities within walking distance, hiking, biking, snowmobile, snowshoe, casinos, restaurants and more. We have public transportation within walking distance, which will take you to many Tahoe/Truckee locations. Many come to N. Shore to be close to all lake and mountain activities, yet a quieter relaxing environment than the Casino strip atmosphere of S Lake.
