Introducing the Falcon Mews Lodge! This is a new (completed September 2015) luxury Parade of Homes log cabin with top of the line finishes throughout. Unbelievable views, custom touches, professionally decorated, private and just 1.1 miles from Main Street Breckenridge (20-minute walk), 1.2 miles to the Gondola lot and 3.2 miles to the ski slopes. Your group is sure to be impressed with this truly amazing Breckenridge vacation rental home!

Upon entering the home your breath will be taken away. The main floor features vaulted ceilings with enormous windows and magnificent mountain views. The open floor plan offers a kitchen that overlooks the living area, a dining room with ample seating and a separate bar area for hanging out and enjoying a drink. The 5-star kitchen is a chef's delight with a huge gas range, oversized copper sink, warming drawer, custom cabinetry and beautiful finishes throughout. Off the main floor is the main master bedroom with a king bed, en suite bathroom with an enormous soaker tub, balcony access and television with cable. Also on this level is a huge wraparound deck which offers a grill, a hot tub, a table with seating for 10 and a fire pit with additional seating around it! (weather permitting).

Upstairs, you will find two additional bedrooms. The first one offers a king bed, television and en suite access to a private bathroom offering a toilet and sink area. Connected to this bathroom is a jack and jill style shower that is shared with the other bedroom. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, television and en suite access to a private toilet and sink area. Off of these rooms is a loft area with an oversized reading chair, a desk and some of the best views in the house!

Downstairs is where the fun happens! There is a great family room offering a large flat screen TV, ample seating and a shuffleboard table! There is also a pullout sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. Off of this room is the bunk room which features 2 sets of full bunks (4 full beds) and 1 set of twin buns (2 twin beds). These custom made log bunk beds provide comfortable sleeping for kids or adults. Next to the bunk room is a full sized bathroom with double sinks and a tub/shower combo. Also on this level is a door out to the covered patio, a laundry room and access to the one car garage.

Falcon Mews Lodge is located on land that was mined with the use of a water cannon during the Breckenridge Gold Rush years. The original Mews was a small A-Frame cabin built in 1967 by the current owner’s family while stationed at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The name Falcon Mews is a tribute to the USAFA mascot and refers to the building where birds used in the sport of falconry were kept. This brand new home has custom touches throughout that pay tribute to the property’s past including the original mine siding found on the kitchen center island as well as the early 1970's era Breckenridge Ski Company logo in the tiled entryway.

We stayed at this beautiful property in September 2015 -- it is absolutely gorgeous! Everything is brand new and was done top notch! It is so comfortable and inviting, and we highly recommend it. You're in for a treat! The location is only minutes away from downtown Breckenridge and yet provides privacy and beautiful views in the home - the best of both worlds! Can't wait to go back!

Incredible home and location.

Labor Day in Breckenridge

Falcon Mews is a new, moutain modern log house about seven minutes from downtown Breckinridge. We were there Labor Day weekend for a wedding and basically just slept and showered there. Upon arrival the code to enter garage did not work. I called the management company who gave me their "universal code". He said they'd send someone out to reprogram. They didn't, which was no big deal once we got inside as we had a garage door opener that we used. The house had probably been cleaned a few weeks before our arrival and was very dusty with many spider webs . We felt like for a $395 cleaning fee it should have been cleaned right before our arrival . I had read several reviews about the water pressure issues but was assured by management that it was taken care of after the first report last winter. It was not. The master bath nor the other three baths had a strong shower . I ended up washing my hair in the master bathtub. The kitchen, living areas and bedrooms were all very nicely decorated and the light was great. There is no air conditioning so it was very warm during the day but great at night. The beds were comfortable and there were several types of pillows to chose from in the closets which was nice. When departing we tried to use the code on the garage which again didn't work as we were instructed to leave keys and garage door opener inside. I called management once again to ask if I should just use their universal code again telling him no one ever came to reprogram. He did apologize and said he'd speak to his cleaning crew as well. . Falcon Mews sleeps many, is arrractuve, comfortable and is conveniently located.

Great House

This house is great! We had 8 guys staying here for a weekend ski trip and everyone was comfortable. It's close to town and has great views of Breckinridge. The hot tub was a pleasant way to kick back after a day on the slopes. The rental company was also great about helping with the smoke alarm after we accidentally set it off cooking some bacon for our morning breakfast. The only issue with the house is the water pressure in the upstairs shower. I read another review that had this issue as well. It needs to be addressed. At times there was nothing but a trickle/drip. I had to shower downstairs in order to have efficient water pressure. Other than that, we absolutely loved the stay. I would reccomend this house to anyone, as long as the water pressure issue is fixed.

For as much as we spent the showers should have worked.

There was no water pressure in the showers. They did come out and fix it. The beds need to be replaced. It was like sleeping on a pull out couch. It was a very pretty cabin. The kids had fun, but for 7,000.00 I was just expecting more.
