Great location, short walk to the mountain, short walk to Horizon for Apres Ski. Villa is exactly as advertised. I have worked as a snowboard pro previously at this hill and many others in the area. I can attest to great value in this spot. Only issue we had was difficulty communicating with the owner, however all issues were addressed and resolved.
We were three families over the March Break. Although the snow was thin at Sutton, the central villa house location allowed us to ski Sutton, Bromont, Owl's Head and Jay Peak - none more than a 50 minute drive. The villa offers a fantastic great room with wood burning fire place and an awesome kitchen for entertaining. Although the rooms are small, they were only for sleeping - we spent all of our time in the common areas or outdoors enjoying the region. Lots of parking, great internet bandwidth on the wifi and the hot tub is a bonus. Next door to an outdoor centre that offers cross country skiing, snow shoeing and fat bike trails, 7 minute walk to the base of Sutton and close to town where there is a well stocked grocery store and liquor store.
There were a few minor maintenance things that were most likely due to our timing at the end of what I expect was a busy winter. Specifically, the hot tub was due for a filter replacement, the chimney needs a sweep, I cleared out the plugged dryer exhaust vent and there was a lot of random toys and debris around the grounds (most likely lost in the snow, then exposed as it melted). Minor things that did not affect our stay or our rating. I feel this is a great options for active families.
Thanks Joseph for contributing to a great stay in Quebec.
