Clean, comfortable beds. Needs a little tlc but clean and huge.

Our family, Dad, Mum and two teens (18&15) had a great stay. James is wonderful, he checked in with us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great ideas for exploring. The pool heater was loud so he came right away to fix it. Other than that we had no issues with the property. Close to shopping and restaurants by car. Kids fished off the dock, saw lots of fish but couldn't catch any. Nice friendly, safe and quiet neighbourhood.

Beautiful & spacious!

This was the perfect "home-away-from-home" for my husband & I and also our grown children & grandchildren! The home is very open with lots of space to spread out. The decor is beautiful. The rooms are cozy. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms & kitchen were very clean. The location is great - easy to get around & see plenty of sights. James was so attentive & kind and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a wonderful week for all of us!! Would definitely stay here again!

Great house, close to beach on Tampa Bay

We had to come down to Florida unexpectedly due to a family issue, and booked this house. Great pool, the kids loved it! On the water, super safe and quiet neighborhood and 2 minutes from a small cozy beach on the bay. Everything else we needed within 5 minutes. The house was spacious, well stocked and clean. Very accommodating for our pets as well.

Fair at best

This property is indeed spacious but does not sleep ten - one pull- out couch was broken and the mattress on the other was so dirty our guests opted for a hotel . The owner did provide air mattresses when it was brought to his attention. The inside and outside of this home are in dire need of cleaning and updating. The upholstered furniture is dirty and some of it is threadbare. Most of the linens were worn out. The owner does respond quickly and eventually ( we booked for eight weeks) quit bringing more used replacements when we complained and provided us with new. The pool pump kept leaking and owner could not get it fixed; one of our guests pulled out the filter and cleaned it and the pump leaked no more. There is very little outdoor furniture and much of what was there was broken as was the gas barbecue. There are two old and broken down boats and an old car on the property .

The kitchen was surprising well equipped and all appliances worked.

There are five televisions that are so old that universal remotes do not work with them and we were unable to use Our Netflix except on our computers.

We cleaned the house and made the best of the accommodations. We have rented many different homes in Florida but this is the first one that was not managed by a property manager. The owner is a personable fellow but a poor property manager. Would not advise renting this home

Owner's Response: I find Sandra's review as very unfair. Please consider the following. Sandra said there would be 5 people. She agreed that the house would fit their needs. Sandra said her Son was coming for one day and leaving his kids at the house while he and his wife enjoyed Florida. The pull out bed would sleep two more people, for a total of 7. When they complained about the bed, I quickly went over to check it and brought two new extra air mattresses, there was a few stains on the mattress, so we immediately cleaned them. Sandra asked for some beach towels. I quickly went to the store and bought 8 more. The furniture isn’t dirty. I assume someone there made a mess and she had to clean it up. Sandra's complaint about her guest cleaning a Pool filter to fix it is completely incorrect. I had to pull the pump and take to pool store who repaired a seal in the pump, it was fixed quickly, and there was never any down time from the use of pool so it was nothing to complain about. Sandra complained that there is very little outdoor furniture, so I went out and bought 4 new chairs. There were two grills for them to use. One used to be a gas grill but was converted to a charcoal grill, it wasn't broken, it was her perception of wanting a gas grill. This property was previously my own home and I keep one of my boats there. The car is a Hand built Buick Reatta collector’s item and is not in bad condition. She made it sound like there was a junk vehicle on the property and that is not the case at all. Since no one ever complained before about the TV we never saw it as an issue. So I immediately went out and bought another TV and some universal remotes. Her comments about cleaning the house are very unfair statements. They never said anything at check in and if they did, we would have immediately done something about it. Sandra continued to stay for 8 weeks when she had the option to decline at any time, which is why I'm surprised about this review. We have 5 vacation rentals and we always make sure the homes are clean and ready for our quests. We do accommodate as much of our renter’s requests as possible. I am very diligent, and it is always my desire to have happy customers as you can see from the way I responded to Sandra's requests. The majority of our customers actually become friends and/or repeat customers. Sandra has written the ONLY review on this home. Why? Because everyone else who rented this home had a good experience.
