We've used VRBO 8 times to visit six different holiday destinations (four in the Caribbean).... And as we planned our next holiday we just couldn't believe Bob's description of their "Turtlefish Haven" .... or the outrageously complimentary reviews we read. But we couldn't resist calling and testing it. Bob's professional and personable manner in answering all our questions made it easier to take a chance that his assurances and description were accurate. So we went in this off season and are simply stunned.



This is arguably one of the most beautiful beaches ANYWHERE! And they ARE located at the very center of the entire beach. And we could walk to all the restaurants we needed, and the supermarket was an easy walk to get fresh baked pastries and coffee for breakfast and nibbles for the beach. at what they offer.



We love snorkeling and found you could enjoy just going offshore, but we ended up checking out different reefs every day... there can be no more beautiful water than off Seven Mile Beach!



The condo itself could not be more appealing or convenient. It is right on the ground floor, set back across the lawn from the beach about a hundred feet, which made it even better for us as we like the direct access to the beach while maintaining our privacy without having all the other beachgoers and walkers right on top of us. The open Caribbean flavor interior was delightfully soothing and tastefully decorated with 3 new flat screen TVs. Everything we needed was in the full kitchen and we didn't even miss the lack of granite counters.



The cell phones were so very convenient; we could even keep in contact with each other from the beach to the condo!



Bob and his wife were the most hospitable of hosts. They really went out of their way to inform us in advance and be available to us both by email and phone while we were there. And their housekeeper (Virginia) is both competent and accommodating with a personality to match. Thanks, Bob and Ann Marie.



Bottom line: Their Turtlefish Haven is SIMPLY PERFCT for a family vacation. We will return this coming year, and Turtlefish Haven is the only destination we want. And the SIX STAR review was spot on!

You can spend a ton of time researching where to stay and getting a "feel" for what places are like, comparing prices etc. OR -- you can trust me on this and go to Turtle Fish Haven. It's smack dab on the beach and easily accessible to everything. On top of that, Bob the owner sends a personal and comprehensive letter-guide that offers all sorts of information on how to do things and go places. The unit is fairly basic but it's very clean and has great kitchen stuff. The posted photos are exactly what you see when you arrive. You can walk to the grocery store 2 blocks away and save money by eating in. If you're hunting for a dive operator, check out Indigo Divers and EPIC Divers. Best restaurant experience was the Calypso Grill. Anyway, when you talk to Bob, it's like you're talking to your next door neighbor and he makes everything seem like a trip to the mailbox. Thanks for everything, Bob.

Awesome Vacation

My wife and daughter just got back from staying at the Honeymoon condo of George and Ann Marie. We had a great time. If we were any closer to the water we would be in it. Condo was very neat and clean!!!!!!! The owners were extremely helpful giving us a complete packet before we arrived of contacts and very helpful information of things to do. If you are there contact Georges Watersports for the stingray/ Snorkel. They are great! They only take a small group that goes out with them and you don't fight the cruise ship crowds. Matt gets you there before the crowds and shows you great attention. (Highly recommend)

When we go back we will most definitely stay back here. Can't say enough about Bob and Ann Marie!!!!!!!!!

Perfect

From the initial contact with Bob and Ann Marie, to the best wishes given at our departure, our stay at Honey Moon Haven was perfect. We had everything we could ask for - location, comfort, amenities, and greetings and support from lovely people who make you feel like they have welcomed you into their home.

The beach is quiet and safe, yet we were able to make use of facilities from the hotels on either side when we wanted to step up the excitement (check out the banana boat rides!). The property itself is clean, bright, and airy. Its well-stocked kitchen has everything you need, for making a cocktail or cooking a meal. The location is perfect - a short walk to restaurants, groceries, anything you need. The owners provided a wealth of information to help with research before we arrived, and gave us support when we were there for anything we needed.

If you are looking for a perfect getaway on seven mile beach, you'll be hard pushed to find anything better than this!

Spring Break 2016

Condo was spotless. We have stayed at the Villas for years, this is the first time renting through HomeAway. The owners are like "family". They are kind and patient and provide a ton of information which is definitely a bonus to first timers. We had a great time and we actually miss the owners, they make you feel like you've known them for years! Honeymoon Haven, like all the condos at Villas of the Galleon could use some upgrades, but then the prices would go up. Husband is a contractor so probably more picky then me. We couldn't get any closer to the ocean and it was nice and quiet. Owners provide tons of information which is a bonus!! I would "not" recommend Budget rent-a-car; they gave us a great price and a crappy car that was in need of numerous repairs. We returned it and booked through Avis. Budget immediately rented the unsafe car to someone else. Needed brakes and transmission work. Hope to return next year. I actually miss the owners...hugs and high fives to them and thanks!

We are so glad we were able to direct you to just the right place for your last evening, and that your events and activities we recommended were so successful.....we really do care that you have a truly special time with us. And we look forward to having you back as soon as you can, as we already have another newly developed surprise activity in store for you, as well as our being able to direct you to a few if the other wonderfully exhilarating attractions you didn't have time for this trip. Yes, upgrades are important, and although outrageously expensive, are on our calendar. Maybe Steve would consider branching out to our bit of paradise....he wouldn't be the first ex-pat to do so! Finally, we have spoken to Gary already and know that altho your price was ridiculously low that the service was wanting; after all, you did arrive on the very busiest day of the entire Spring Break period and he's awaiting new cars to upgrade the fleet - and come a bit earlier next time and avoid the horde of families with school kids. It was a busy week that we are happy to have behind us - now, on to Batabano - HEY! Why don't you come back for that great week! We'll still be here!

A Paradise!

My husband and I stayed here over spring break with our 13 year old son and it was a delightful condo, with very gracious hosts on a prime location on 7 Mile Beach. The condo was in excellent condition, very clean, beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything we needed. The owners Bob and AnnMarie were extremely helpful and welcoming. They made us feel at home. The location was right between the Ritz and the Westin so the access to water sports was easy through Red Sail Sports which had an office at the Westin. However, the Villas of the Galleon beach was less crowded and we always has a beautiful spot to relax during the day, swim and watch awesome sunsets. The entire complex was extremely well-maintained. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Optional usage of Jacuzzi in HoneyMoon Haven requires a damage deposit to emphasize the need for extreme care in its use. If guests choose not to use the Jacuzzi, then no damage deposit is required.

HoneyMoon Haven Ocean-Front location rate please add US$72.00 (plus 13% Hospitality Fee) to basic discount rate.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Spring Break, and Easter Holiday periods please add US$50 (+ 13% Hospitality Fee) to basic discount rate.

As we impose no Service Fee, we ask that our guests leave CI$80 (US$100) for our Housekeeper on departure, all of which goes to her without deduction or taxation.
