About Leslie Seykora
We are Gary and Leslie, two retired teachers who have worn 'other' hats as well. Gary loved to paint houses, Leslie did calligraphy and worked in a financial advisor's office for a time. Right now we are enjoying our new move to Wabasha. We love living in Wabasha because it is a beautiful & friendly place to be! It's also very nice to be able to personally take care of our guests at Harbor View if they need something. We are also the parents of 3 adult sons, 3 wonderful daughters-in-law and grandparents to 8 grands!.
Why Leslie Seykora chose Wabasha
Have to say that as much as we enjoyed bringing our young boys and our boat to Lake City every summer we were delighted to find Wabasha. We came over one day in July years ago and found Harbor View to be perfect for us. The people are what's special about a place and Wabasha has wonderful people. When we returned on one of the coldest days in January we found it to be cozy and peaceful. In the Fall we loved to sit by the fire-ring as we looked at the stars and greeted those who stroll by. We love its situation right by the trail within walking or biking distance of everywhere! Our dog has loved it too! And we could leave our boat nearby in a public slip or on the trailer right next door. Its been fun to meet people from all over the region and sometimes further!
What makes this Condo unique
Wabasha offers a quiet that some of the other rivertowns do not because the railroad and the highway don't run right beside the river here! The first time we saw the National Eagle Center it was just a small storefront downtown filled with the most knowledgeable and accommodating volunteers we ever encountered. It is now in a beautiful new building and has only gotten better. Of course the golf is great and the views from the course stupendous. When we desire a little side trip the small towns up and down the river on both sides offer some exciting diversions for adults and kids alike. We are so impressed with the professional people that provide great art, wonderful theater and a superb variety of music. We could go on and on but we hope you will come and seek out the hidden jewels yourself!

Great place relax, extremely comfortable and able to get away for a quiet time in the outdoors.
Clean, quiet place. Perfect for a quick getaway from the cities if you enjoy small towns along the river and the outdoors. Had the opportunity to visit some of the local wineries and breweries also. Great that you can have your dog along also with the walking trail right next to the unit.
It was very nice place and very clean.
We really liked the place and it was in a good location.
we thought that the property was excellently located for quiet (if that's what you want) or easy access to all fun things offered in Wabasha . What a great vacation. We could be as active or as relaxed as we wanted. Thank you for having such an attractive and well maintained cottage.
Everything was within a short distance, either by walking or biking. We brought our jet ski too and had fun exploring the sandbars across the river.
Very nice and very clean I would rent again
Had a great time. Great location.
A perfectly romantic impeccable retreat!
This property is like new. You can tell the owners take pride and love their home. No detail left undone. Great for a romantic get away for two.
THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER is only a half mile! KAYAKING TOURS or FISHING GUIDES are available in Wabasha. We have done both & love them.
THE NATIONAL EAGLE CENTER is less than a mile away and one of a kind in the USA. We love the professionalism of the employees & volunteers.
LARK TOY CO. is 6 miles from your suite. Readers Digest chose it as one of the 10 best toy stores in the world! You will find toys for all ages as well as mini-golf with colored water falls, llamas grazing in the back, toy-makers busy at work where you can watch and, best of all, a handmade unique indoor Carousel that you won't want to pass up! Sandwiches and treats are sold there as well. It is an adventure in itself south of Wabasha near Kellogg on Hwy 61. Great for all the old folks, too.
